The socialists didn't vote for Hillary - that's why she lost. She didn't cultivate the Bernie crowd.

Did you listen to his speech at Mt. Rushmore? It was filled with criticisms of the 'radical left' and their blue states. Is that a good enough argument for divisiveness coming from Trump? What about retweeting a statement about letting blue states rot? Divisive, or not?

I was referring back in time. Divisiveness started well before Trump.

    So your comment was pointless.

That’s a fair point. She was the socialists’ runner up before she cheated them.

Trump’s election is a result, in part, of divisiveness caused by Obama and Democrats even before him.

Because that’s how liberals roll. Divide the population into victim groups, then tell them they have the solution.

    Simple fact.

On this one maybe everyone, including myself, should take a long, contemplative look in the mirror.

Well if you really feel this country has never been great and you would like to avoid it becoming a better place I suggest Canada or Mexico.

This nation was born out of divisiveness. It's in our damned DNA. Pretending it's not is either ignorant or trolling.

If you think for yourself you will have to conclude that it's both. But the latter not by illegal immigrants, but by Trump and his... whatever number of his supporters who have created a cult around him. I'm not saying this means all his supporters (which would get me in trouble with the mods), but all who have decided to elevate Trump above Science, above experts... and even above what they themselves see and hear with their own eyes and ears.

They are the ones who have already changed America's uniqueness (we are no longer regarded as the leaders of the free world), our sovereignty (Putin is allowed to meddle in our elections and go unpunished). values (when was torture and abuse of children by separating them from their families part of our "values"?) and way of life (the worst financial crisis in almost a century produced by mishandling a crisis)

Don't even bother trying to predict the future. When has the right EVER been right on any prediction they have ever made about "the future" (hint: never). Look at what is happening now! And then think for yourself when answering your question. Don't just repeat what Trump and the wingnut media tells you.

So sad the country was being led to hell by Obama and his surrogates before Trump decided to Run. And Obama was entirely why you got Trump, well that and the Neocons who were actually willing to do anything to keep Obama from screwing everything up.

And lo and behold, we all got screwed. The Neocons took it in the ass, the economy is taking it in the ass, there is social unrest like we haven't seen since MLK was alive, and there are still idiots who support this worthless, feckless, cowardly, traitorous Tangerine Turd.

The social unrest began under Obama and was all but ordered by him. The economy is a function of The covid lock down and the refusal of many Democratic governors who prefer politics over science, to let people go back to work. Most would rather ruin the country than risk Trump winning.

RUSH: I'll tell you, I'm going to be very honest. I largely blame myself for this. I do, I'll tell you why I think I'm responsible for this, this partisan divide. It's a good thing, don't misunderstand, but I'm responsible for it

Ahh, but here's the difference. None of that is divisive. Because EVERYONE is a victim of all of the above, lol.

What was the Obama's entire bill for those eight years?
Obama went on an around the world tour to give BJs to our enemies.
Yes shame on him for not trusting the same people that came up with the Russia hoax and shame on him and every other world leader for not having a crystal ball to consult about the pandemic.
But Obama spent it on what???? Trump has spent a lot on fixing things. Everything Obama touched turned to ****. There isn't a single thing he did that will have positive long term benefits for America.

Strawman, my feelings on this nation — its successes or failures — has nothing to do with what time period you are advocating we return to. Since you are the one saying America isn’t currently great maybe you should take your own advice. Your options are probably limited however...

You still didn’t answer the question.

Strange how such a simple question that y’all regurgitate so often sends you into such a panic to deflect. That should tell you and anyone paying attention what this narrative actually is.

I didn't answer the question? I think I did. You asked how you can avoid an America that is great.

But specifically, I think this country has always been great. Under President Obama however, we had a nation that was underperforming and a President who embarrassed me and many others personally by going to foreign countries and apologizing for America. We have nothing to apologize for. So with regard to making America great, I would say Trump has kept his promise, jobs and incomes up, businesses expanding, trade improving ect. We can reelect Trump and continue to make America even greater. And what is wrong with that idea?

So you want to make America great again but you believe it is already great under a president that has spent more in one term than the previous one did in 8, has no plan or solutions to the healthcare and debt crisis this nation faces, has had lower GDP growth than the prior administration even before his failure to react to a pandemic leaving 180,000 - 220,000 Americans dead, while we are routinely mocked and shut out of discussions by other nations we considered allies prior to this administration?

You need to pull your make America great again bumpersticker off and replace it with the new slogan keep America great — at least be vaguely consistent in the delusion.

I wonder though, you tell other people to leave because they even remotely question the motives or narrative of the president, but then you just stated that you were dissatisfied with the agenda of the prior administration, why didn’t you leave then? Or do you believe this is your country more than it is other Americans?

Will you leave if trump is defeated by a man with as much baggage as Biden has? As he is probably the worse the left has to offer...
If he bests trump, maybe you are the outlier here, and not everyone else.

And no, you didn’t answer the question, I asked for a time period.

Colonials and British. Patriots and Tories. North and South. Union and Confederate. Liberal and Conservative. We've been doing this dance since the 1700's, and the regressives always lose in the end.

And, Democrats are regressive. Back to many of the English flaws that caused the revolution. Over taxation, legal abuses, political favoritism instead of the rule of law, etc.

But this country was born out of an intellectual disagreement with that - in unity. Not division.

No, by definition - and over 250 years of recorded behavior - CONSERVATIVES are regressive. And in the end, progress and history move on and leave them behind. Deal with it.

That may be because your answer was utter bullshit and doesn't line up with objective reality.
