I would so love to be proven to be incorrect in this suspicion of mine?

But yes.... i do suspect that Big Pharma has a number of USA judges pretty much bought and paid for?

It seems to me that there is a certain segment of any population who are prone to pressure...... or bribes....... and a powerful case can be presented by some intelligent people that a 2008 magnitude correction to Wall Street might be more than the economy could handle???

My friends in Germany are stunned and AMAZED at how much we Americans pay for prescription drugs. I've researched this and and it boils down to this -- other countries (like Germany) force Big Pharma to negotiate drug prices. The United States does not! So, Big Pharma pushes the higher prices on us Americans -- because they CAN.

Notice -- neither the Republican Party nor the Democrat Party has done ONE DAMNED THING ABOUT THIS. Not "beloved" neo-populist Obama, nor "lookin'-out-for-Americans" Donald Trump. We Americans 'take these artificially-high prices up the butt' and the other countries pay much, much less....

To many americans are just as brainwashed as our chief justice and believe all our judges are clean, pure, and not political. Shows how devoid of reality Americans can be.

I don't know about judges. But the Big Pharma lobby is huge. They own the politicians.

There is a saying that every man has his price. To believe judges arent corrupt or political is just plain delusional. People like justice Roberts are completely out of touch with reality.

The issue in the case isn't so much the judges, it's many tens of millions the industry spends on lobbyists. Members of Congress get most of their information from the lobbyists, so there's not really much of an alternative side to present the other side of the case when legislation is being drafted and voted on. (In many cases it's the lobbyists themselves who actually drafted the legislation)

The Pharma industry is one of the last major industries left in the U.S. that is protected (mainly through complicated rules and regulations) from foreign competition.

They threaten their intellectual property rights to drive down the price. We can't do that according to the Constitution they have a right to it here. I believe that is being addressed in the new trade deal with Canada. We need to do that with the other countries.

Foreign companies are free to develop new drugs in their countries. They just can't afford to because they can't make their money back. Foreign companies invest here and develop new drugs. Make the other countries protect the intellectual property rights as we do here and not use the threat of them to negotiate prices.

yep, and we've witnessed judges being political against trump ergo they're political with everything. what do judges themselves say in court, if the witness has been caught in one lie then their entire testimony is a lie...

I'm no 'communist', and I'm not a 'socialist', either. I don't advocate 'breaking' pharmaceutical companies, but when/if they collude and agree to charge Americans more than they charge in other countries, they're putting themselves right in the crosshairs for anti-trust litigation, IMHO.

Some of the price differences for the same drugs between what's charged in Germany and what we pay in the U. S. ranges from five times as much to more than hundred times as much. That's price gouging, pure and simple!

And we should negotiate better trade deals with these other companies to protect the patent rights of new drug developement so they can use that as leverage. That is why American patients basically fund new drug research for the rest of the world. But there is little we can do when those other countries will simply choose to not buy the drug and make them available to their citizens. They are more than willing to say take it or leave it. We could have the government say the same here and what will that do to new drug development?

Perhaps you should go down to the judge store and ask the clerks.

Nothing but total corruption IMHO. I personally know two senators who lost elections and immediately went to work as lobbyists for big Pharma. Both now have salaries close to a million a year. Big pharma is telling Congressmen that if you take care of us we'll take care of you. We see the same thing with former presidents being paid half a million for a speech from special interest groups. The Clintons have amassed hundreds of millions collecting payback. It needs to be stopped.

Big Pharma is quite probably the reason we can't get legal weed on the Congressional agenda. (Liquor lobby doesn't want weed legal, either.) These are some incredibly powerful people. The fact that they are allowed to advertise ....

"Talk to your doctor about Amazingol... Tell your doctor if you are allergic to Amazingol.... Contact your doctor if Amazingol causes anal leakage. Tell your doctor if you have asthma, as Amazingol has been shown to cause asthma like symptoms."

I love the free market, but not every inch of it that we currently allow. If you have asthma and your doctor doesn't know, you have the wrong doctor.

    Very true........
I have read some pretty amazing things about hemp oil and CBD oil as a potential remedy even for cancer.

The health industry’s lobbies expenditures far eclipse all others in Washington.

It’s not clear what precisely you are asking. Perhaps I am a bit slow, please rephrase, or just jump ahead and make the point you are desiring to make.

..."cancer cells are anaerobic (do not breathe oxygen)cannot survive in the presence of high levels of oxygen, as found in an alkaline state." (Dr. Otto Warburg, written in 1924 to 1931)

Google "oxygenation of blood Matol, Karl Jurak" for just one example.....

Doctors know how to oxygenate the blood... there are many, many ways to do it......

but BigPharma put enormous pressure on doctors partly because nearly half of their income is commissions on prescriptions....

What BigPharma did against Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski will be marveled at once BigMedia
is humbled... and I do feel that that is coming.....
on the negative side Matol and other products cause our bodies to detoxify which can be somewhat unpleasant.
