Gone is his Canadian February escape to the Caribbean.
Shouldn't he be ice fishing or enjoying the 9 month season is similar way.

Canada's Trudeau scraps Barbados trip to try to resolve anti-pipeline protests

TORONTO, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has canceled his planned trip to Barbados to help resolve widespread rail disruptions caused by indigenous rights activists opposing the construction of a natural gas pipeline, his office said on Sunday.

Indigenous communities across Canada have been blocking some key railway lines for nearly two weeks in protest against the Coastal GasLink pipeline in British Columbia, which has forced Canada's biggest railroad, Canadian National Railway Co , to shut operations in eastern Canada.

Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller, who held talks with some indigenous communities on Saturday, told a talk show on Sunday the unrest and its impact on the economy amounted to a national crisis. . . .

The Fuhrer wouldn’t have put up with nonsense like blocking the railway line, and nor would Mussolini.

    INFLATION

    COMING SOON TO
    :flagcanada:

    https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/...nd-emergency-interest-rate-cut-182008131.html

The Bank of Canada is making an emergency cut to its benchmark overnight interest rate in the face of growing coronavirus fears.

The 50 bps cut brings the rate down to 0.75 per cent.

“This unscheduled rate decision is a proactive measure taken in light of the negative shocks to Canada’s economy arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent sharp drop in oil prices,” said the Bank of Canada in a statement.

“It is clear that the spread of the coronavirus is having serious consequences for Canadian families, and for Canada’s economy.”

The Bank of Canada says it will provide an update on on April 15, but stands ready to adjust monetary policy as needed. . .

Canada border opens to foreign families of Canadians

Ottawa (AFP) - Thousands of foreign nationals will be able to reunite with their families in Canada after the government in Ottawa moved Monday to exempt them from its travel ban.

The border was closed to all non-essential travelers in mid-March to try to slow the spread of the new coronavirus.

And how easy to cross the border into :flagus:

Canada's loss of UN Security Council seat a blow to Trudeau

TORONTO (AP) — Justin Trudeau arrived on the world stage with rock star popularity in 2015. He declared “Canada is back” and made winning a seat on the powerful U.N. Security Council a top foreign policy priority.

But Canada lost out to Norway and Ireland this week in a three-way race for two seats. It was Canada’s second consecutive defeat in a bid for a seat and an especially big blow to Trudeau. . . .

Well that's what happens as politeness loses in "Musical Chairs".
I wonder how good Trudeau is at "Musical Chairs"?
3 contestants, 2 chairs and the music stops.

    :)

IF... .the CPC chooses Mr. Peter MacKay as their leader...... I think that Canada will soon get that seat back......

Please visualize yourself as a university level economics professor.......
please read all of the following article by three Canadian economists and.....
based on the ideas in this brilliant article please attempt to give Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
some sort of "grade" for his efforts to address this COVID 19 pandemic?

I believe that there is no way that an honest person with a familiarity with MMT, (Modern Monetary Theory),
Quantitative Easing and historical Social Credit Economic Theory could give P. M. Justin and his advisors a ZERO
for the way in which they handled the Canadian economic response to this COVID 19 pandemic!

Trudeau Hikes Carbon Tax in Bid
    to Reach 2030 Climate Goal

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepped up efforts to hit Canada’s emissions targets by 2030, pledging billions in new money to combat climate change and increasing his government’s carbon tax. . .

Such action hurts poor people the most and
ignores the carbon footprint of producing electricity & electric cars.

"Canada tells us of Covid21 -the plan now what is coming"

Basically it seems that perhaps Canada is planning something so huge that it makes sense out of why BigMedia .. BigPharma.... BigOil ... BigGovernment were all so desperate to steal the 2020 USA election. I know you don't like videos but this is colossal.......... it is like 1930's in Germany in some important ways.
