There are many things about McCain I didn't like and some I did.

However I would never and never did, denigrate his war record.

    Trump did...

Yes, the DP seems to be locked in to a losing strategy.

I think some people can't understand how it's possible to agree with somebody about specific things without needing to form a cult to worship them and everything they do and say.

They originate and pass budgets. Trump signs the bill into law. Really basic stuff, which has nothing to do with Trump's true feelings about ground/air/sea troops.

Trump was running against McCain, and McCain was running on his war record.

Trump, correctly pointed out the problems with McCain's war record.
He did not make stuff up to generate Fake News.

They thought this kind of absurd fabrication would work in 2016.
What does it take for them to catch on?

    Trump's exact quote

“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

    Trump is truly a POS

Apparently, your post is just more fake news. Is there anything from Trumpworld that isn't fake news?

Before you reflexively react with more "fake news" uproar directed at mediabiasfactcheck.com, be sure to ready a credible source to back up your claim.

More diversion. Funding the military is irrelevant to Trump's feelings about the troops. That he thinks they're suckers doesn't mean he doesn't want them to protect him and his wealth. I'm sure he thinks the contractors and workers he stiffed are suckers, as well. Doesn't mean he has no use for them. There's also the issue of government defense contracts. These are just two reasons that Trump's opinion of the troops is completely irrelevant to funding.

RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! again. The DP has been warned.

"Many of Mr. Trump’s supporters also said they felt vindicated by the conclusions of Robert Mueller’s report on Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. While the former F.B.I. director painted a damning portrait of a campaign that was riddled with Kremlin sympathizers and a candidate whose real-estate ventures were beholden to Russian investors, no clear evidence of collusion between Mr. Trump and Moscow ever emerged and the president was never indicted.

“It was always a red herring, just like Trump said,” said Bernard Schwartz, a gun store owner from Houston, Tex. “Democrats wasted a lot of ammo on that one.”

Obama almost ruined the military. Trump signed a budget that benefited the military after advocating for an increased budget.

Being military by heart, I prefer Trump over Obama any day of the week because I would live longer that way.

We've gone from Trump's disgraceful comments about war heroes to the deficit. You get an A+ from me on diversion. Good work!

When in doubt, scream "Obama." Why am I not surprised.

Again, I voted for McCain. I don't care about Obama. McCain is relevant, and Trump is relevant. Obama is not.

The thread just drifted that way after ECA said Trump had nothing to do with military spending.
Because I do not vote for or against Trump. I choose between alternatives. There is no reason to believe Biden will be in more favorable for the military than Obama and Harris will be worse.

Given he alternatives I would rather our GIs live because they have adequate equipment.

Uh...no. Not even close. This report has four "dudes," whose claims comport with each other, and with claims of dozens of other "dudes," and with Trump's own words. Does the fire need to catch your pants leg before you realize it's not a false alarm?

The Atlantic has never failed a fact check. Never.

    Four anonymous sources?

If you can't get one single Trump hater to go on the record with such an outrageous accusation just prior to an election then you aren't a good reporter and you should not have submitted the piece.

But the reporter and the editor should be in prison cleaning toilets and let's hope that after the great leader is reelected we start putting the #FakeNews behind bars for conspiracy and sedition.

Which was a diversion raised by you.

You can rationalize this all you want. There is every reason to believe Biden will be more favorable to the military than Trump. His deceased son saw combat in Iraq. Beau Biden was decorated with the Bronze Star. Trump said he'd disown his son if he entered the military. The Biden's are a military family. The Trump's are an anything-but-the-military family. The choice is clear to anyone not under the Trumpian spell.

She's almost as easy to criticize as Trump, but for entirely different reasons. While I don't dislike some of her views. I wish she would be less angry and strident when people disagree with her. She's a "my way or the highway" type who finds it difficult to compromise, find middle ground.

Not all unnamed. Read the articles. Plus, his words at Arlington at the grave of John Kelly's son have certainly been corroboated by Kelly, who was there.

It really matters not. His supporters are never swayed by facts, and those of us who keep presenting facts are wasting our time. The Trump bubble is impenetrable.

I have heard nothing out of Biden that indicates he would fund the military and given the experience with other democrats, it won't happen..

His deceased son has nothing to do with it. By the way, I served in Vietnam and was awarded a bronze star.
