I know it's hard to believe we have a president who would disrespect military service.

But, this one story is only one minor piece of the overwhelming pile of evidence.

 

No you didn't. My argument was corroboration. You tried turning it into anonymity, which it is not. Funny how you haven't addressed my actual argument.

 

But in order to compare it, you have to make as many elements as possible similar. Thus five doctors using the same four anonymous sources.

 

Lol. No, I don't. I can use scientists corroborating each other with independent studies, if I want. I can compare scientific independent review. Journalistic corroboration is what we're seeing here. These reporters have their own personal networks, budgets, and bosses. Their own ambitions, separate from each other. They're operating independently. If one journalist suspects a source of being unreliable, that's what he says. When he confirms another report, he's saying the information is accurate. You just can't get around this.

And doctors diagnose illness with examinations, not anonymous sources. My god, that's ridiculous. A doctor doesn't need to know of a previous examination to form a diagnosis.

 

Have any of them used anything but the same four anonymous sources? There are more than that who are willing to identify themselves who say it is not true.

When doctors corroborate diagnoses, we see this as reliable.

When scientists corroborate experiments, we see this as reliable.

When eye witnesses corroborate testimony, we see this as reliable.

When journalists corroborate reports, we see this as reliable.

How they do their work is irrelevant.

This is reality. Good luck fighting it.

 

I am not going to use even one doctor who gives me a diagnosis based on anonymous sources. Even if he knows the sources, I would want t know his sources. Sending me to another doctor who uses those same anonymous sources would provide me no comfort at all. I would want to know why his sources are anonymous.

Says who? You? Trump has rebuilt the military. My nephew is a Marine, a young guy, half Mexican, who didnt vote for trump in 2016 but will in 2020. He's has 2 deployments and has seen pay raises and and a resurgence in pride in our armed forces under Trump. He ordered a Trump flag the other day, no crap. I almost couldnt believe it. His attitude has changed in the last 4 years.

There is strong evidence concerning Trump's attitude toward military service. There wasn't any need to fabricate evidence.

 

I totally respect his service. And, I note that in joining, he took an oath to protect the constitution - something that is more important than who is presideent.

However, he's making a big mistake in terms of his political views. And, I'd point out that active service members are showing decreasing approval of Trump.

 

Yes, I'd like Kelly to come forward and tell the truth, too.

But, the Trump attitude described in the Atlantic is true beyond all rational doubt.

He has been monumentally disrespectful to those who are serving and have served.

Think about your own situation and how Trump treats gold star parents.

I'm saying that there is GIGANTIC evidence of Trump's view of service in general and military service in particular.

So, nobody would need to bother to make something up if their objective had been to campaign against Trump.

There just wasn't any reason for that. And, making crap up would be a stellar way to look really really bad were the story to be found out as false.
