Lower number of elderly residents, while does help explaining your the reason for low infection rate, can also be interpreted as proof that only those without compromised immune system need to be quarantined. So, this point can be used against your agenda. Low number of diagnosed cases does not matter if the total numbers of deaths from all causes does not deviate significantly from the norm, something that seems to be the case to argue that somehow Africans aren’t affected by the virus that much, which brings a very legitimate question - why are we blowing trillions of dollars on something that gets us the same result with Africans who are too broke for any real quarantine?

Why should we worry about opinions of those who have them only after you made your opinion known? Also, judging from your logic - why did the EU have BLM protests? It's not though. By going out and possibly spreading the virus you are endangering those who are at a higher risk. This selfish behavior is condemning the elderly and those with conditions that put them at high risk to house arrest indefinitely.
