Grand Jury Charges 1 in Breonna Taylor Case

The Louisville Grand Jury has come back w/ charges on only 1 of the 3 officers involved w/ the shooting death of Breonna Taylor, who was sleeping in her bed when the police, acting on a,"no-knock," warrant, broke into her home, shooting, though it was not the current address of the person wanted by police. Officer Brett Hankison will face 3 counts of wanton endangerment, an offense carrying a maximum sentence of 5 yrs. The charge is typically used when an officer discharges his weapon, w/o reasonable cause, into the air. Besides hitting Miss Taylor, police bullets were also found to have penetrated into neighboring apts.

 

Interesting that the Yahoo article failed to also note that Taylor was actively participating in the drug operation, or that the man in the apartment with her opened fire on police after police had identified themselves as executing a warrant on the premises. But sure. I bet Louisville is bracing for the violent mob to descend on them. BLM/INTIFA can't let an opportunity like this go... could they? I would advocate that everyone stay home. No riots, no looting, peace be upon the city of Louisville.

 

Officers announced their presence it was NOT a no knock warrant and that is corroborated by witness according to the DA. The criminal they were looking for fired first. No murder charge.

They fired at least 20 shots many of which penetrated other residences, barely missing neighbors including at least one child.

The FACT that the city just awarded Breonna Taylors family a $12 Million settlement, says it all. They know she suffered a wrongful death.

 

Good ruling, though BLM terrorists are sure to destroy the city for it.

My brother was scheduled to go to a business trip in Louisville today, it got canceled due to threats of mob violence by the terrorist.....the city lost out on some revenue due to the leftwing terrorist threats

 

So one of the officers was a ham sandwich.....lolz! That must be one weak ass case.

 

And the officer that did that has been charged and will face a trial on those charges.

 

There is no benefit to society enforcing drug laws. Cops are humans and will react to being shot at. They should have never been sent in the first place.

 

As noted in that thread the city was out of line in giving those family members taxpayer dollars, why did they deserve it, they didn't.

It was a knock and announce warrant verified by civilian witness it was executed properly. The feds are seeing if the warrant was just.
The two officers not charged were not involved in the warrant process and simple were asked to assist in the warrant.
The one officer entered the apartment after they would not answer the knock and announce, both the boyfriend and Brianna were standing side by side in the hall with the BF in a shooting position and fired striking the officer. The two officers returned fire from the doorway and the officer struck that went inside.
The other officer that is charged, shot randomly through the outside window and some of his bullets went into an another apartment.
The two officers that were fired upon were justified to return fire.
The grand jury was walked through all the evidence and THEY decided on who and what to charge.

A lot of what we heard about this was false information.

And exactly why the officer firing randomly through an outside window was charged with. It was reckless and his bullets are the ones that went through the other apartment and he will face his charges.

 

That's just a bribe to try to minimize the rioting.

 

As always happens in these cases and I purposely had it on CNN and now watching them say how the grand jury go it wrong and they should have come with a manslaughter charge claim by a former prosecutor when there is no Kentucky manslaughter charge and the officer charged did not shoot Taylor. The two officers in the doorway were justified in firing their weapons.

But you are correct lots of false information, a false narrative was created and the lynch mob will not accept the results of the grand jury.

 

That's what happens when you judge prematurely. In fact, the Officers went by the book. The Democrat party and left wing media did similarly with President Trump, by finding him guilty, all day, every day, of every allegation without actually knowing anything but bits and pieces which they then strung together to create their own story. In fact, they were all wrong. Stupid people. Very, very stupid.

 

What is a "wrongful death"?

 

I had not been following this case but to hear the media and the mob tell it they broke in and shot the woman while she was asleep in her bed!!! Her death was clearly the result of the actions of the boyfriend opening fire. The officer who negligently discharged his weapon will face the consequences.
