Common sense is a myth that only holds true when things are held in common. Thus common sense for a Brit is not common sense for the Japanese. Common sense for a Christian is not common sense for a Wiccan. Goddess has no issues with homosexuality.

Not a true statement. Sins are defined by religions. Just because it's not a sin in one religion, doesn't mean it isn't in another. It is a sin, but only for those following the religions that defines it as such. Thus we cannot blanket statement that it isn't a sin.

Sins are defined by common sense.

 

First off, homosexuality is about the sexual attraction to one of your sex/gender, and occurs whether or not action is taken based upon that orientation.

Sodomy on the other hand is any sex act that is not PIV sex. Thus oral as well as anal are included and by logical extension are not limited to homosexuals, since heterosexuals are know to frequently engage in such acts. So logically, Sodomy is not an indictment on homosexuality.

 

Unless it states in the bible that homosexuality is a sin, its not.

 

I dont think the F word refers to sexual immorality or homosexuality or abnormal sexual behavior or 50 shades of grey or anything related to the stuff in that book. I think it refers to mating itself.

But its a form of sodomy by definition. Even in the sense of attraction to someone of the same gender its related to sodomy, indirectly. Its more likely to be sodomy than normal behavior.

 

It's common sense to me and many other people that homosexuality is as natural, albeit not as frequently occuring, as heterosexuality. Therefore, it is also common sense that denying such is a sin.

Just because something is a sin because it doesnt meet a certain qualification doesnt mean everything that meets those qualifications is acceptable.
