The Clean Water Act already does that....

    Obama's EO added dried ponds.....and lakes....try again.

This Lake was already covered so your OP is wrong.

First off it is not a 2015 Clean Water Act, it is a 2015 definitional Rule. It was not "passed" by Obama, it was issued by Obama. Secondly, it has zero to do with regulating clean water as the Rule so states. Next.

Really then why did Dirty Donald repeal it???? It covered pollution by farmers industry and merchants on all U.S waterways including coastal and in particular Texas prairie waterways whichmay have affected this lake. He had to go to court to get part of it overturned.

because it was a stupid rule that hurt farmers that had empty, dried out ponds on their property.

And the farmers then polluted them and heavy rains came which fed into streams and rivers and into drinking water lakes and then holy hell broke loose.

nope they were empty. the rule was pointless and only in affect a couple years. so the so called problems you claim would have been there before.

actually maybe had the rule not been in place maybe the farmers could have planted there. when the rains came there wouldn’t of been run off...interesting...obama’s rule likely caused this.

thanks for highlighting the source...obama and biden...

You clearly blame nature for rains but want to blame farmers, who do NOT pollute land they need for their very survival. Do not be that unaware of what farmers actually do. Industrial waste is not farmer-originated but does do significant damage.

Allowing farmers and industrialists like Mike Pences family to pollute our land and streams and rivers leaving behind EPA super fund sites costing taxpayers hundreds of millions to try to remedy and mitigate. Loot and pollute it's the right wing way.

Again and still, no link...no credibility. At least you're consistently unable to support your statements.

Blaming the contamination of "the lake" on President Trump is completely ludicrous when one actually googles "Lake Jackson, Texas."

News Flash!!!! The Lake Jackson being discussed is a city, not a lake! A little research will also show were the City of Lake Jackson gets its water from - and it doesn't come from a body of water called "Lake Jackson." Damn the facts, let's just blame Trump! Friggin' hilarious!

Now you've gone and done it. Committed an act of premeditated research. Libs abhor that. Ruins their good lemmings-frenzies racing to the next insignificant issue.

Yep, but didn't have to do any research, Lake Jackson is about 40 miles from me, and relatives have lived in Lake Jackson my entire life.

Oh... I can hear the liberal poster now... "Your relatives live in Lake Jackson? What are they, scuba divers?"

The chlorine levels in the water supply for the city got out of whack. A pathogen survived and caused a death, but by all means, we need to blame it on Trump. Someone's last remaining shred of posting integrity just crashed and burned. The authorities are getting the issue under control...

And they do it to themselves. Without us forcing them. Libs are America's true entertainment. John Kenneth Galbraith once said, "If all else fails, immortality can always be assured by spectacular error."

Dems are a party of schisms fighting each other, which America should consider a blessing for the ineffectiveness of their schemes but a horror for how much it costs to learn they blew it.

Your first stop before you began jumping to unfounded conclusions should have been the wiki page for this little beastie. Note it can be found almost every where including aquifers and moist top soil. We are not it's primary prey, which is bacteria. The disease associated with it is extremely rare. Probably not much more than a dozen or so a year. It's requirements seem to be warmth and some degree of dampness. Cases have happened everywhere from Pakistan and Czekoslovakia to the US.

The claim is bogus. The Obama rule would not have impacted that sorry.

Lake Jackson and seven other Texas cities had a boil order on their water supply which has now been lifted. If the amoeba is ingested in drinking water it is not considered a serious threat but when it is on the face and can crawl up a victims nose and into their nasal passage that is how it gains access to the brain which it then attacks and can kill.
