The contamination was found in the cities' water supply. Initially they were concerned that it affected the water supply in nearby communities, but determined it was only in the Lake Jackson water supply. I can't find anything that says the lake had anything to do with it.

What super fund site has been left by a farmer or Mike Pence and his family?

Most superfund sites can be found in and around the upper NE, lib country.....not in farm land.

Blame the left for superfund sites: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Superfund_sites
New Jersey, California, and Pennsylvania have the most sites....should that come as a shock?

Everyone and everything needs clean water. Without clean drinking water, humans get sick. Plants, animals, aquatic life, and the entire food web need clean water to survive. That’s why the Trump administration’s efforts to gut federal clean water protections are so disturbing.

The administration repealed the Clean Water Rule and is now attempting to undo the landmark 1972 Clean Water Act. Because water policy can start to feel like a whirlpool at times, read on for a breakdown of what’s being proposed and what will be lost.

He hasn't done anything to gut it...the Clean Water Act is in full effect.

What he did un do was Obama's stupid EO that made no sense, and did more damage then good. Literally the rule regulated depressions in land that might fill up with water if it rains making a puddle. It then went so far as to not set any guidelines and simply said, well...if we see water, we will enforce it on a case by case bases....making it impossible for small farmers, or even folks to build homes......https://www.heritage.org/environmen...g-the-clean-water-rule-was-the-right-thing-do

Mike Pence's family owned multiple site chain of low costs gas stations and heating oil dealerships in three states Indiana ,Kentucky and Illinois. When they finally declared bankruptcy and shut down their operations they left behind thoroughly polluted land their businesses had occupied many of which became EPA super fund sites requiring millions of dollars to clean up, some of which still are not cleaned up.His oldest brother walked away from the bankruptcy worth well over $25 Million.

The water supply is treated before it sent out into the pipes. Someone at the local level screwed up. Not Trump two thousand miles away.

Research will show that the body of water called Lake Jackson is a relatively small, privately owned "oxbow" lake that it is completely usurped by a housing subdivision.

From your various posts, it is obvious that you saw a headline and in your rush to bash Trump, you assumed that the article was talking about an actual lake, when in fact it was talking about a city.

Then in at least one of your posts, you claimed that the "lake" was contaminated and that the amoeba originated there. This is not true. The lake is a nice little privately owned lake that is not "contaminated," and in fact is a pretty good fishing lake if you know one of the homeowners and can get access to it.

You were under the impression that the City of Lake Jackson gets its water from the lake called Lake Jackson. Again, the City of Lake Jackson does not get its water from the body of water called Lake Jackson. The city gets its water from the BWA and from local wells.

Garyd posted above about the amoeba. It is fairly common, and really doesn't have anything to do with pollution or with Trump.

Credibility requires at least a bit of research/knowledge before posting.

The BOIL WATER before drinking was lifted on seven of the eight cities where the order was in effect on the 27 th of Sept. The only city still told to drink only bottled water is Lake Jackson City, they still have the BOIL WATER edict in effect.

It had nothing to do with the lake. Someone at the water treatment plant screwed up. Not Trump 2000 miles away.

Are you a scientist that knows what creates or kills brain eating amoebas?? Because I certainly am not, but I do no know that LOWERING or ABOLISHING clean water standards or clean air standards is STUPID and not beneficial to peoples health and well being. That is COMMON SENSE !!!

I don't think that "create" is really a good term to use with amoeba reproduction. In fact, amoebas are living organisms that reproduce by binary fission, and have been doing such for several hundred million years.

Many things will kill amoebas. The proper quantity of chlorine per gallon of water is one of those things.

On another note, highly polluted water will also kill amoeba. They are susceptible to said pollution just like other living organisms.

You are trying to blame it on changes to the clean water regulations. You have no evidence of that. In addition, it is in the drinking water. Treatment would have killed it, if done properly. Someone screwed up and it was not Trump.

I suggest you read my original post again I posed it as a QUESTION, I certainly do not have the scientific knowledge or background to say oneway or the other. What I do know is that LOWERING clean water and clean air standards is in no way helping the human race or any other living species that drink water or breath air.

Your post: "Did Dirty Donalds repeal of the 2015 Clean Water Act passed by Obama result in the brain eating amoeba which has infected Texas Lake Jackson, resulting in the death of a 6 year old boy, and affected the water supply of 8 Texas cities???"
You have been defending this post as if the answer was in the affirmative.

Are you claiming that no one or no species on the face of this earth has benefited from this change? Keep in mind you would have to have checked all two and a half million of those different species.
