I'm having a hard time believing this is true. He has access to the best doctors. They certainly have been following along and know the treatments. What possible reason for their confusion over what to do?

There are competing protocols. I've looked into the MATH+ one, the Duke one, the Yale one, and another one recently developed by a hospital in Orlando, Florida, that is relatively similar to the MATH+ with some important differences (e.g., they recommend early azithromycin while the MATH+ doesn't). So it is conceivable that people are debating which one to follow as different protocols may have different advocates for them. I find the MATH+ much better. My concern is with speed. They should start a protocol and keep discussing and if they want to change it fine, but don't waste any time, dammit! I hope they are NOT wasting time. I mean, that's a journalist's take and we know that one, they misunderstand a lot, and two, they have agendas. So likely Trump's doctors have already started him on at least one of the protocols and they keep discussing the subsequent course which is fine. I hope some idiot is not trying to give him hydroxychloroquine!!!

I get what you are saying, but they should have been preparing for this all along. They saw him standing close to people without masks. This is a very serious dropping of the ball.

They should have been meeting as a team, at least weekly, to update the plan based on new information. Hashing it out now shows a total lack of preparation.

I don't know, as I stated, it was absolutely the worst/longest flu I'd had but I never felt as if I were going to die.. Took all the usual crap syrups and even NSAID during the whole time and being more honest they I like to be, I would/should have been one of those people that couldn't/shouldn't have survived!!!

Personally! Blame whatever party you want, but a huge dishonest game was played on the people of this country.. Where I think we went wrong is hiding from the more survivable CORONA/LITE version when people should have contracted it and acclimated their immune systems to that version, in which case would have prepared the body for the mutations that came later! Now people face a much deadlier strain and have even less/weaker immune system from over sterilization and avoidance to everyday pathogens that reinforce our immune systems..

Yes, but even if they have already prepared for the eventuality, that's exactly what a moron like Scott Atlas may try to interfere with. Maybe the doctors want to plow ahead with one of the reputable protocols and that idiot is putting pressure on them to do something different for political reasons. "Give him HCQ, then if he recovers we'll be able to say how great HCQ is, it saved the president! It will be good for the campaign!" I confess that this guess is as bad as a conspiracy theory but it's not unheard of. That idiot the Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro did precisely that: got Covid-19 and took HCQ (which could have killed him but didn't) and then touted that HCQ saved him and he was right about touting it (two of his health ministers were fired within the same month because Bolsonaro wanted to force them to tout HCQ and they refused).

 

Actually they will force COMPANIES to do it.. They will say all essential and people in the public sector "Food Servers, retail" must be vaccinated or they can't work, do that job.. Those folks will be the guinea pigs

 

So this just in. The president was supposed to get on the phone with a group of senior citizens, to discuss Medicare and other senior issues. He has cancelled. I wonder if he's sicker than we are being told.​
