People who are unable to work because of Covid are only going to receive 2/3rds of their money not 80% as it was previously. I am guessing some people will not manage.
In your opinion.... am I being silly to think that this statement may be applicable to more viruses than simply Ebola and influenza? My lass got kicked out of halls last year at Frenchay, Bristol Uni as they turned the campus into a Nightingale hospital - the main admin area and conference center were filled with beds and who god know's what and all the halls of residence were closed, cleaned and re-equipped and turned into accomodation for docs and nurses etc. Loads of gear moved in and loads of machines that go ping and....nothing happened....no patients....nada....so I guess there will be another massive programme of expenditure for....well....pretty much nothing.
