Yes, I do barely remember that members of Seal Team 6 were killed in a helicopter crash soon after the raid that killed Osama Bin Ladin. I just assumed that the event was staged to make it appear that they died, but instead of dying they actually went into something like a witness protection, new identity type deal. To protect their identities and ward off terrorist attacks, at home and abroad, that would have started because they were "marked men" the moment they killed OBL in that raid.
