OK, let's just say for the sake of argument the Democrats completely obliterate the GOP in all levels of government. How then would the country benefit from a complete 100% monopoly by the Democrats without anybody saying "NO" to their agenda?

The same way as it has in the past when one party held all 3 branches of government.

We will survive. A complete monopoly of both chambers and the WH could send a message that people are sick of the partisanship. Almost nobody is thrilled with the democrat agenda, so if they do take over, their agenda won't be the reason.

    Yup.

George W. Bush had all 3 branches from 2001 to 2007.

They wouldn’t, even partial control (half of congress and the white house) allows things like norms to be ignored, unconstitutional programs to be enacted and unqualified judges to be placed on courts for a lifetime.

We need a third of fourth party in this nation so that no party has control over this nation — unfortunately no one really wants this, they just want their team to win even if it screws America.

It would be hilarious. Watch republicans coming out of the woodwork to try and compromise.

I think there should be different political parties where functional adults say "no" to things they consider are not good for the country. Unfortunately, for the last 10 years or so (when Moscow Mitch officially declared politics a priority above getting the country out of the financial crisis) you have had one party saying "no", not for the country, but for political partisanship. That has not been good for the country.

I hope they change. Maybe Moscow Mitch is not re-elected and the GOP goes back to what it once was: a real alternative. I sincerely hope that happens. For the good of the country.

I doubt much will change. It hardly ever does. The problem is politics has became a part of pop culture and folks think government can make the world a utopia.....it can't.

We already see shithole urban areas where Democrats have been entrenched for DECADES and get no results.

Won't last too long, a couple of years of Bernie and the squad in charge of the country (and rest assured, they are in charge of the Democrat party already, they'll be in charge in they win), never ending riots and violence by Antifa and BLM, validated in their belief that violence and intimidation get them the results they want, the disastrous consequences of their insane social and economic ideas will swing things back pretty fast.

Yeah, 2022 couldn't come fast enough to repair the destruction caused by BLM scumbags.

Almost always true. The country, collectively, makes dumb decisions. In this area, though, we rarely let one party have run amok power for more than two years. It has happened, but not a ton.

I could enjoy laughing during a two year democrat controlled house/senate/white house. It would serve Trump worshipers right.

Maybe it could lead to a new era of bi-partisanship. We've had it before, and every one of us was better for it. One party in full control of two branches is extremely dangerous, no matter which team.

Why 2022? your OP was hypothetical :) Trump and Republicans have not lost, the enthusiasm and republican voter registration are through the roof, minorities are breaking for Trump...

and the polls are totally worthless. when ABC/NBC openly cheat, install partisan leftist activists as "unbiased" moderators, plant liberal activists as "undecided" voters, lie daily about riots, suppress the news about the Hunter and Joe criminal enterprise.... Are we really to believe that polls they pay for are correct, honest and accurate? Give me a f****ing break. ;)

All the right wing polls show Biden up by quite a bit.

25 million people have already voted. That's 10 times more than this point in 2016. In fact, it's 18% of the total votes cast in 2016.

Trump's prediction of giant red wave does not seem likely at this point.

Nope. Not true. Trafalgar (the most accurate poll in 2016) shows Trump ahead, tied or within a couple of points behind in virtually all battleground states, Rasmussen has Trump with a pretty decent approval rating and just 5 points behind Biden in [meaningless] national polls...

I take them with a grain of salt too of course. But I have absolutely zero faith in other leftist polls commissioned by fake news organizations. They pulled all the stops, openly lie, cheat, skew in Biden's favor and act as part of his campaign and proudly wear their pro-Biden bias on their sleeve... Virtually all the content they provide is a lie, distortion or suppression of information. Why on earth would I believe the polls they pay for are any better? I wasn't born yesterday.

According to this, they are not at the top in terms of correct predictions. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/pollster-ratings/

538? lol, That's another uber leftist site. you know that, right?...Jeez they actually openly manipulate poll results "adjusting" poll numbers, i.e. substituting results of legitimate polls with what they find more "accurate". They themselves are not at the top in terms of correct predictions, They completely blew the 2016 election. Sorry, big FAIL, you can't

Nah. All reputable sites like that have admitted they screwed up the 2016 polls. They drastically under counted less educated voters, who are typically difficult to reach, anyway. You can't take one election and make a declarative statement about any and all polling. Humans do take experiences and learn from their mistakes. Are you going to admit to learning nothing in the last four years? ;)

This site: https://www.allsides.com/news-source/fivethirtyeight-0 rates website bias. For the record, they put CNN at far left.

They put fivethirtyeight in the non-bias category.

I get what you're saying, there's plenty of examples in our history when one party or another had a lock on everything and did not dominate with their own agenda. That was when things worked the way they were supposed to, when there was a true bipartisan effort to get things done. The congress has been dead locked for so long that very little meaningful legislation has taken place, it's all politics, all the time. What's changed is the Democrat party no longer exists, the "Progressives" have taken over and they no longer have any interest in our political system, the rule of law, the Constitution or the American people. What they want is absolute power over America and if they win, America as we know it will cease to exist. They don't even try to hide it anymore, they're running Biden because they don't really need a candidate because all they need is a face, it's vote for him, he's not Trump. Biden hasn't really campaigned so those that will vote for him aren't really voting for him they're voting against Trump. The progressives know that they don't have a prayer and so it's a foregone conclusion ( it couldn't be more obvious ) that they plan to steal the election with their mail scheme and no doubt other nefarious methods. I'm confident that Trump will win but consider this, since the beginning of civilization the world has seen it's share of evil illegitimate regimes. In every single instance this was preceded by the same sort of chaos and instability the Democrats have foisted on America for the last four years and a lot of it is stuff we've never seen before. We have the luxury of seeing it coming and being able to do something about it but imagine still the unlikely event of a Democrat win, it would be the very last election ever held in America. That is what we are up against, and every single rube and useful idiot will trot out that what I have to say is conspiracy theory or some other rubbish. I don't fear a Biden win but you have to know when Trump wins the crazies are going to pull out all the stops so maybe a little preparation is in order.

But I can take a bunch of openly biased, not even pretending to be objective any more fake news organizations and deduce that if the information they've been publishing for the last 5 years has been nothing but lies, deliberate distortions and suppression of facts, the polls they produce are in all likelihood of no better quality than their fake news.

PS, sorry to burst your bubble but I know 538 and has been reading it for at least 5-6 years on and off. Every single one of them is a committed liberal, their site has a huge leftist bias and their polls and their "adjustment" methodology are always one-directional in favor of the democrats
