And I'm sure that if your side will post a link showing us the supporting evidence that the intelligence community agrees that these emails and this story is legit. Should be simple enough for ya since you are 100% confident that this story is real. Be a hero and show us all the light and the way.

    I'll wait patiently....

The FBI polls better than Trump and this cooked up story.

Everybody KNOWS this "story" is FAKE BS.

The reason that no "serious media" will touch it, is for the same reason that they avoided the "Trump is a Roswell Alien" Story.

Anyway, Trump's DESPERATION knows no bounds.

I'd call the DNI's statement fairly definitive on whether they believe that it's part of a Russian disinformation campaign:

“Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” Ratcliffe said. “Let me be clear: The intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that.”

Now, for whether "this story is legit", it's not the job of the various intelligence agencies to serve as fact-checkers for every newspaper article that gets printed, and they certainly aren't in the habit of making such evaluations public. I don't know why you expect that this time. It's nonsensical.

Get back to me when the FBI agrees. I doubt Wray wants to be the Jim Comey of 2020

I don't agree. I so no equivalency between them. Trump has no redeeming values.

Why would you imagine "the FBI" would even offer an opinion on the matter? The FBI aren't like Snopes or newspaper fact-checkers who are in the habit of rendering verdicts on newspaper articles. They're not going to give America "the NY Post is right" (nor are they going to give America a "the NY Post is wrong"). That's not how the FBI operates. Your hiding behind this excuse of waiting for confirmation from an organization that is not in the habit of giving confirmation is just plain silly. Others can see that, even if you can't.

Hunter may have taken advantage of his dad's position, but Hunter pales in comparison to Trump's children, who have made tens of millions using their father's position. How about some fairness here?

Trump kids were millionaires and doing business with other countries before the election. And they aren't selling favors.

Hunter couldn't get a job as a dog catcher with his record so he making himself for sale to the highest bidder to gander his fathers influence for money.

    Very big distinction.

huh? it’s no longer a prosecutor. All he did was leak the emails he was given. He has nothing else to do with the matter.

And what's the FBI's long-standing policy about commenting on active investigations? (hint)

Again, why would you expect the FBI to comment publicly on this news article or Hunter's emails? It's against their policy. What part of that don't you grasp?

Why do you think they are investigating?

And why isn't the DNI adhering to that same standard?

In fact why is he weighing in at all?

Exactly. Counterintelligence operations aren't made public for obvious reasons.

I'm no expert on this topic. Honestly, I have very little to no interest in it. But I do recall very soon after Trump became President, his daughter visited China, talked with the leaders there, & soon after was approved for a large trade license that many American companies wait years to obtain. That license has opened her up to trade with China measuring in the tens of $millions. That's just one example. There are hundreds. Hunter's antics pale by comparison.

I hope they're investigating Hunter Biden's schemes to sell access to the VP, and the public corruption entailed, but I don't know what they're investigating, because they haven't said, so any guesswork on what they're actually investigating would be based on rumor and hearsay. I'm certainly not holding out waiting for them to tell me what's true or not in the news, as you seem to be doing.

I'm sorry, I don't take the word of Trump's cuck, Ratcliffe. I will reserve judgement once the FBI finishes their investigation. Until then, good luck swaying voters with this yuge nothingburger.

Gj. That admission against interest says it all.
Biden's handlers know the emails are authentic.
