No? We all have to get covid regardless. Either through contracting the virus or taking a vaccine. We all have to get it eventually.

A golden opportunity for the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief that he pissed away just like the golden showers the strippers gave him in Moscow. ;)

They turned out in DROVES in 2018 so WHY do you imagine they won't do the same again in 2020 given that they have the same MOTIVATION that they had then?

I’m not worried about corona any more than I am the flu. It’s a 3 minute drive to the poll and probably about a 10 minute wait in line to vote. Quick and easy.

That’s easy, because your stupid democrat governors have the colleges shut down and everyone doing distance learning. Which means there’s no get out the vote in person recruiting on college campus’. There’s no vans taking groups of kids with a mob mentality to the polls from dorms.

Which is why the youth vote so far in early voting is LESS than what it was in 2016. And you folks need it to be more... much much more

I think "first time in history" indicates it's never happened before. If it happened in 2016, perhaps it's the second time in history?

No, it did not happen in 2016. Currently.

Are you under some illusion that those in the 18-29 age bracket LACK access to Social Media where there have been plenty of GOTV initiatives?

Are you UNAWARE that those in the 18-29 age bracket are more than capable of participating in Mail-in Voting and Early Voting?

Do you realize that HALF of those in the 18-29 age bracket are FEMALE and that THREATS to their reproductive RIGHTS are MOTIVATIONS for them to VOTE?

Where is your CREDIBLE source for that allegation of yours?

Okay - something got lost in translation. Your back and forth indicated you agree with 2016. Never mind. :)

It is not the race itself that concerns me since Biden is going to win.

However the fact that the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief will then DISRUPT our nation in his attempt to OVERTURN Biden's win is what concerns me because there is considerable RISK of people being HURT in the aftermath.

Joe will lean toward recommending locking everything down, ending up with an even greater global economic crash....which will lead to skyrocketing poverty and homelessness here, and tens of millions of people starving to death in poor countries.

But hey, if three or four people don't die of Covid here in the US because of depriving people the right to earn a living, then devastation and starvation is all worth it, right? Vote Democrat 2020!

There are plenty of uneducated citizens who vote Democrat because that is just what they are supposed to do. Dems support the working class and all of that other BS, right! It is much more ignorance than stupidity. They don't understand that the Dems have not supported the little people, the working class in too many decades to count. It is all simple lip service. If those people educated themselves rather than trusting the lies of the left from Biden, Harris, Obama, and so many others, it would be a landslide victory for Trump. But, head in sand, they go to the polls and do simply what they are supposed to do - ignorance every step of the way.

“The early voters also tend to trend older. Voters 50 or older make up more than 70% of the votes cast, according to the TargetSmart analysis. Hundreds of thousands more young people have voted at this point in October, compared with the 2016 election, but they still make up a lower share of the overall total than they did then.”

So in other words while the other demographics have substantially increased their votes in early voting, the youth vote has not kept up. And it won’t because the stupid dem governors have their campus’ shut down. So the likelihood they show up on Election Day in force is next to nil

That's nice that your town gave you enough polling locations. Mine does, too. We have 12 for a population of 45,000.

Lexington, KY, has 700,000 people and they have eight polling locations. They have to vote early, or they will not get a chance.

Sounds like an improvement. Because in 2016 they only had 7

    http://media.kentucky.com/static/election/2016/polling-locations.pdf

Also might I point out, no major issues with their 7 polling locations in 2016 that I’m aware of.

You are erroneously conflating NUMBERS with PERCENTAGES!

Just because other demographics have SIGNIFICANTLY increased their SHARE PERCENTAGE to a greater extent than that of the 18-29 age group does NOT mean that they are NOT participating in the election in LARGER NUMBERS than they did in 2016.

ALL demographics are showing HIGHER participation AND higher NUMBERS of voters.

I am confident in predicting that this election will set a record for voter participation.

Higher voter turnout is NEVER a good outcome for the GOP.

What we would expect is for EVERY group to increase their early vote totals by a comparable amount. That would hold, I believe, even more true for college students. Why? Because they know they won’t be on campus and they know they won’t have the advantages of a polling location in the quad (or wherever) they can just walk over to and hang out with all their buddies while they wait in line. So I would expect they would have increased their percentage even more in early voting than other demographics.

But I reckon we will see.
