Well Philadelphia is on fire. More than 30 cops injured. I expect this rioting and lawlessness and burning of businesses will help Trump in the election
There are too many things to list, you simply don’t understand any of it. You don’t shoot at legs because; they’re too small a target, the round will pass through and could hurt an innocent, leg wounds do not stop threats, and all of your arguments appear to originate from television. if you don’t understand the particulars you’ll keep looking very silly.
They fired around 13 times and some bullets missed! A slow moving leg coming straight at you meaning the target profile is not changing position and is 10 feet away is not a small target
yeah, imagine if you were shooting at a moving leg. You have no idea what you’re talking about, you’ve probably never used a pistol before but have no problems telling others how.
You shouldn't be. You said "this doesn't happen in other countries" obviously meaning police abuses whereas it does.
Firstly your post is typical liberal hysteria and hyperbole. I am proud of nothing. Just pointing out that your claim that this stuff doesn't happen in other countries is absurd. And the reality is there is zero basis for comparison and rank ordering of countries. Try that knife shi* in Mexico and see what happens to you. Now on to your second point -- have you ever been in a lethal force confrontation or even a serious fist fight in your life? I am thinking you have not because when it happens you will have a massive dump of adrenaline that destroys fine motor skills. This is why people cannot shoot accurately at close range in a real fight whereas they can at the gun range. Another example of the impact of an adrenaline dump is how martial arts that require complex movements do not work in real fights. Now if you claim otherwise please tell us about the lethal force encounters you have been involved in and how you were calm, poised, and deliberate when it happened.
Coming after you with a knife is a credible threat. Lots of people die that way and I'm sure if they were alive, they'd tell you that someone coming after you with a knife is a credible threat. You have absolutely nothing rational to defend your position with.
Maybe it is the other way quite often and we don't hear about it because the officers decided not to kill the person. Anyway, I am not arguing one way or the other. I just recognize that these are sometimes not so cut and dry cases.
When is a gun ever used otherwise? That's what is for. When a gun is drawn it is intended for lethal force, nothing else. No warning shots, not "leg shots", none of that circus act BS. A gun is to kill.
Well that wasn't too hard to debunk. The attacker was confronted by two officers and ordered to drop the knife multiple times, before one fired several shots and killed him, Western Australia Police Force Commissioner Chris Dawson said. https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/01/australia/australia-stabbing-intl/index.html
Does it not occur to you that people in different countries might have different respect levels for the police? Do people in the UK attack police officers as much as they do here? I'm honestly curious. What do police do in the UK when some tweaker tries to shoot them? What do they do when rioters throw bricks and rocks at them?
Err, he stabbed 7 people. In what way is that "similar circumstances"! Do none of you understand what "similar circumstances " means
That case was certainly different. In the Australia case, he charged two cops with a knife and got shot. In the Philly story, the guy charged two cops with a knife and got shot. If you can't see the differences, I don't know what to tell you.
