So if the voter does their jobs and its sent by the deadline and a 3rd party doesn't do their job and deliver it on time the voter's right to vote is negated? And that's not voter suppression?
Are you accusing the state of Pennsylvania and a bunch (majority) of other states of suppressing the votes of their citizens? Why hasn't anyone taken them to court and had the laws slapping deadlines on ballot submission ruled unconstitutional? Could it be because you and your ilk have absolutely no idea what you're talking about? PS voting in person, using certified mail with delivery confirmation, dropping the ballot in the ballot collection box, tracking your ballot and making sure it's received, submitting a provisional ballot on the election day if something goes wrong - these are just a few most obvious remediations of a lost/delayed ballot problem. Extending the deadline to infinity isn't one of them. PS2 I drove my ballot to the county election board and handed it over to an election official.
OPLINE The U.S. Supreme Court denied a request by Pennsylvania Republicans to speedily review again a decision by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that pushed the deadline for receiving mail-in ballots back to three days after Election Day, but the order said the U.S. top court could still take up the case after the election.
You did great so if someone else sends it by mail does their vote not count? I'm asking you specifically
Those 4000000 got by just fine when everyone had to send their absentee ballot in by the USPS just as they got by before early voting.
So this really isn't voter suppression unless the court agrees with Trump. I do believe the mail in votes should count if they are postmarked on election day and prior till within reason which I believe they should be counted if they arrive no later than November 6.
??? Really???? Would you not at least call that attempted voter suppression? Much like attempted OOJ is still considered OOJ. I generally agree with you that COB 3 days later SHOULD be the max for the reception of valid postmarked ballots by all state election boards.. However, one simple question. What will you say when the USPS continues to deliver ballots AFTER 11/6 that are postmarked on or before election day? The USPS will do that somewhere in the country and not refuse to deliver them.... or worse.
No President before Trump challenged state laws for the counting of votes. If he does, it's because he believes it will hurt the Democrats.
The folks that got gassed on the way to the polls? 4 million people only getting 1 ballot box, 100k votes almost getting tossed because they were from a Blue precinct?
Probably not and I'm sure there is no precedent on record that dealt with this extraordinary election year.
Are they trying to suppress Democratic voters or they targeting all voters regardless of party affiliation?
Yeah he does not want to divert from his path to the next jet to Argentina or at least a country without extradition
