Outgoing Syria Envoy Admits Hiding US Troop Numbers; Praises Trump’s Mideast Record

If this is true...then it deserves investigation and arrests. But we're not going to see that. Biden will continue to the wars. Probably even add more troops. And this will be ignored. And no doubt, some will defend this.

 

While the additional troops(and hiding that fact from the COMMANDER IN CHEF) infuriates me to no end(and of course is par the course for these four years.) I can forgive that blemish in that he seems to have otherwise served the Presidency and the administration. I'd rather someone who batted 90% over the god awful slime all around us that batted 0% and didn't even bother.

On the other hand, the neutrality and transactional politics has indeed helped us around the world and that will forever be a positive Trump legacy. But frankly, the "political class" only knows weapons and sacrificing our men and women.

The good news is that 4 years in the future, the excuses run out for the political class. I predict an even stronger outsider than Trump will win, and with that outsider's victory will come the end of the plutocratic political system.
