Slow down, FB. We're talking illegals here, not the entire population. It's a few billion, not three trillion. Peanuts. And it's a stimulus; it's going back into the economy.

I'm not certain on this, but I believe those stimulus checks were drawn on the treasury whereupon there was no actual money there, the dollars are 'fiat currency'.

But, I do agree with the premise, in the long run, wealth doesn't grow on trees, because huge deficits are ultimately financed by inflation, which is paid for much more by the middle class than anyone else, or at least by the segment of society who are unable to hedge against inflation. Offsetting inflationary effect of deficit spending are taxes and treasury bonds, but they aren't enough to pay for it all. Because inflation affects the middle and lower rung of society, I favor increasing taxes on the hedge class, to even the burden.

Been meaning to read his book. I like what I've read from him, and I think we share similar ideas about business being a potential force for good in the world, at least when it is run well and focuses on adding value, which all honest businesses should.

You do know many illegals send every spare cent they get, back home. Right?
The point is, they deserve none of our taxes. Stop giving them rewards for breaking our laws.

Some do, but they are making money for this country while doing so and they generally pay taxes.

And sometimes payroll and others, depending. There isn't much evidence that they are a net expense, if any at all

How could you read what I wrote and come up with that conclusion? How would publicly held companies grow, do extra R&D, hire workers, provide benefits if not for investors? So yes, investors do provide something as they enable the companies we invest in to do what they do. I call that producing something.

I call 'em like I see 'em. We were talking about "free stuff," and all you did was whine about illegals. Looks clear to me.

He can explain it to you but he can't understand it for you. Of course investors produce, they drive the economy.

No duhh, your party is the one giving them handouts. I'll take a "mexican" as you so stereotyped them, over a progressive any day.

    I don't belong to a party.

The subject we were discussing was free stuff. Fiscal policy. All you want to talk about is people. How does that look to you?

Sure you do, it's a common democrat smear to call those "wayciss" who oppose ILLEGAL immigration as though they oppose ALL immigration. A tree is known by it's fruits. Speaking of fiscal policy, the annual cost of illegal immigration is a huge drain. And YOUR party rewards them for violating our laws.
