His son cashed in on the fact that his dad was in a position of power in the U.S. and maintained his position because his dad demanded those investigating his son be fired or they dont get monies.

I actually think that people who hate Trump the most are from the Right, Lincoln Project etc. The left hating Trump is a given but it takes a special type of hatred to hate your own kind.

No, I don't think it's possible because there are too many checks and balances and it would take a conspiracy theory level of coordination to pull it off. The people who are important have said that it's been the most secure election ever. I absolutely think that they would have been small instances, probably to do with late ballots coming in and being accepted, disgruntled individuals, that sort of thing. Nothing systematic and nothing large enough to overturn an election.

Remember the days where we actually knew the winner by 2 or 3 am? Remember when we had election day and votes were not "counted" for weeks but the same night?

This is the fishiest election in my lifetime, no reason it takes weeks to count the votes, too much opportunity for fraud.

I grew up hearing about trump and he was never anything more than comic relief for the whole country.
From his days as an attention whore on Robin Leach’s tv show, everyone used to laugh about his obsession with gold plated toilets and his ridiculous duck tailed combover and aggressive bragging.
He was the quintessential American buffoon.
Later, when he was bankrupting his businesses, palling around with the mafia and getting sued every other week for stiffing someone, he became old news and people just belittled him as a bad joke.
#DiaperDon has been a national joke since the 80s and everyone, left or right, had a good laugh at his expense.
Then as he said, he found that the repubs were easier to fool, so he pretended to be one to attract the poorly educated to his demagoguery and he fooled them into thinking he was not a deplorable character for a while.
But it only took one term for decent Americans to see through his malignant narcissism and realize that trump was not fit to be anything more than a carnival huckster peddling rotting steaks and worthless university degrees to rubes, so we fired his sorry diapered ass.

Heck, there's time I wished my former principal were thrown in prison too - but we don't throw people into jail for being incompetent idiots. As far as the selection process, I know I've said many dozens of times here Trump ran against the ONE Dem he would win against. The 2016 party nominee selection process on both sides was a weird race to the bottom - and St. Cellulite won that round.

It’s not so much a belief that it could happen, I know you lack the strength so that’s not the concern. But it is an escalation in rhetoric that will undoubtedly continue. That escalation could lead to civil war, and you have played your part in that.

 

Could you point to the LW-er in this thread who has condemned the idea of locking people who disagree with you into prison, along with a quote? Surfer Joe is for it. AJ says "Just win," and when asked point-blank about the idea, didn't answer. The rest have deflected or just gone elsewhere with the topic. Does the left have the same POV on the subject? Well, based on this one thread, how does it look to you?

School boards and city councils are the sources of the problem. Intelligent people choose to work for a living leaving the miscreants and malcontents to run for offices that nobody pays any attention to.
