One of the most important bits of evidence cited by Giuliani and Sidney Powell, is this deposition purportedly written by a person who was a member of the Venezuelan national security guard detail of the Venezuelan President, when Chavez was President. This has been cited as the "smoking gun" regarding the allegedly corrupt Dominion Voting System.

The deposition author accuses Smartmatic of conspiring with Hugo Chavez to design a voting system that could change votes, to ensure Chavez was reelected. Smartmatic denies any such involvement, and indicates they do not now, nor have they ever, had ties to any government. The company was founded by two people who were born in Venezuela, but the company was founded in Boca Raton, Florida. Their full rebuttal is here.

Of course, one would expect Smartmatic to deny allegations of crime. Neverthless the facts they cite can be investigated and verified or falsified. Set that aside, because even if Smartmatic was guilty of the alleged crimes, that has zero implication to Dominion. So let's examine what the deposition says about Dominion:

" I want to point out that the software and fundamental design of the electronic electoral system and software of Dominion and other election tabulating companies relies upon software that is a descendant of the Smartmatic Electoral Management System. In short, the Smartmatic software is in the DNA of every vote tabulating company’s software and system."

Dominion, the company, is independent of Smartmatic. Dominion developed its own software - it's false to claim it is a "descendant" in any relevant sense.

"Dominion is one of three major companies that tabulates votes in the United States. Dominion uses the same methods and fundamentally same software design for the storage, transfer and computation of voter identification data and voting data."

This is a half truth. It's true that both systems had similar design objectives, and there may be similarities in the way they operate. Machines designed for a purpose would naturally have commonalities like this, but that does not imply they execute the same software, or even share relevant software components. The presence of software that permits vote tampering in one does not imply the other allows this as well.

"Dominion and Smartmatic did business together."

Both companies deny this, and if they're both lying - this could easily be proven through public documents.

"The software, hardware and system have the same fundamental flaws which allow multiple opportunities to corrupt the data and mask the process in a way that the average person cannot detect any fraud or manipulation."

A generous view of what he's saying is that anything is possible with software. While that's true, there is no evidence that the software was written to change votes. Dominion is in the business of selling these machines, and it would be self-destructive to the company to design and sell machines that fail to tabulate ballots accurately and honestly. Moreover, various countries (including the US) has validated the security in these systems.

Conclusion: the allegation against Dominion has no credibility. It entails speculation by a person who has little, if any, knowledge of computer software. (For the record, I have some expertise in software: I have an M.S. in Computer Science, and worked in I.T. for over 40 years for a major oil company).

We need to put this allegation to rest. Nevertheless, if anyone has any OTHER evidence against Dominion, please post it here so we can scrutinize it.

Great post, but those most in need of these facts won't heed them. Applying logic and reason to the unique and powerful emotional attachment of Trumpsters will not change anyone's mind. Whatever Rudy says comes from Trump, and is therefore indisputable.

It is then also typical that when you assert facts, those require some citations to produce authority to claim them as factual. As likely you are not a board official of either company in question, your assertions seem shallow and lack foundational evidence that your claims are otherwise provable beyond, cause you said so. I get that citing the sources for these observable facts is problematic then for you.

The only facts that seemed relevant were the allegations made in the affidavit - which I linked to. I simply analyzed what the person said about Dominion, and showed that it was absurd. Regarding producing an authority: I noted the fact that I have an M.S. in Computer Science (also a B.S. in Computer Science, Summa Cum Laude), and worked for 40 years in IT. I was a very good programmer, I evaluated both hardware and software, and participated in security audits. The person who wrote the affidavit was a security officer, seems to have no expertise in IT, and made some naive inferences that I called out.

If you have some information that contradicts what I said (e.g. perhaps you have evidence this person was indeed a software expert), bring it out. His naive inferences, are the basis for my concluding he doesn't know much about software and hardware systems.

Did you even read what I wrote? I analyzed what the man said about Dominion, and showed the problem with his naive inferences. Read what I actually said, instead of making vague accusations, and if you see a real problem with my analysis, bring it up.

Fair enough. There are plenty of examples of how to change or modify the voting algorithms that are available on line that you could have researched.

Once upon a time, democrats feared these devices.... https://www.nbcnews.com/news/all/ch...ng-scrutiny-inside-america-s-biggest-n1104516

It would be interesting for the state of MI, GA, and PA have the machines in the Detroit, Atlanta, Philly, and oh for the sake of argument, Milwaukee, Maricopa county, and Las Vegas, for example, to allow auditors access to their machines, all dominion, and conduct a sample ballot but not put the machines in their testing modes, to actually evaluate the results of those test runs. If their software doesn't produce variances, what harm is there in actually inducing that testing? No one at this point should be worried, since, as you suggest, nothing untoward was done. So, run a test or two. Make half of America happy. And, should the result not match, your statements of "fact" you should rescind. This is super easy to accomplish. Why do you suppose that in every case, the local election officials are trying so hard to eliminate or modify their election gear? I mean, if there's nothing to find, why not allow the audits to happen?

There are many graphs in this video regarding the spikes in voting that took place after most people were sent home and supposedly counting of the votes was supposed to stop. I found these graphs to be impressive evidence indeed of fraud.

My wife's first language is Spanish and she has been keeping me updated on how corrupt the government of Venezuela is for years now. She thought that the arguments plus graphs in this video were logical and fitted with what she has been finding out over this past decade.

Well, at least we know it was never the Russians. It's always been the Venezuelans and the Democrats.

Can you find the graphs online? I'd like to see them. Isn't he just reporting on Sidney Powell's complaint? I've read her filing, and it's extremely problematic. I can go over a few things if you like, but the biggest one is her use of the deposition I discussed in my Op. I showed that the deposition has zero bearing on Dominion.

The government of Venezuela has nothing to do with Dominion. Sidney Powell's filing claims, "Smartmatic and Dominion were founded by foreign oligarchs and dictators", which is simply false. The deposition she referenced doesn't even say that about Dominion. I discussed what the deposition actually said about Dominion in my Op.

That's a pretty bad red herring. I'm guessing you don't know much about the way computer hardware and software work. Dominion electronic components (LCD components, capacitors, resistors), and glass for the screen. Even if the CPUs came from China (which they don't), it is software that controls the operation - and the software was written in the US.

We know what Russia did in 2016, and it did not involve vote manipulation, it involved attempts at votER manipulation. Is that something that you have some doubts about?

I don't exactly what you're blaming on Venezuelans and Democrats - but it sounds a bit like you assume there's some sort of massive conspiracy. I hope not, but please let me know.

Is THIS sort of audit what you mean:
Michigan judge OKs audit access to voting machines
    ?
I'm fine with that, or any other sort of audit that is legally feasible. Do you really need to do that with Georgia? Their hand recount matched the machine count, and this actually seems pretty good evidence the machines work fine, doesn't it?

As I said, I'm fine with further testing of these machines - even though they've previously been tested by the states that purchased them (see this) and certified by the US government. But hypothetically, if they were to find some sort of problem with them - that has zero bearing on the analysis in my Op. I simply showed that this one allegedly important deposition, one that Sidney Powell relied on, does not provide a reason to be suspicious of Dominion. Is there some OTHER reason to be suspicious of Dominion?

Where'd you hear that election officials are trying to eliminate or modify their election gear? I couldn't find anything about it.

Those spikes were not fraud votes, but were from batches of mail-in ballots. Pennsylvania is one of the states that doesn't add mail-in ballots to the tally until after polls close on election day, so those votes are added in batches.

According to the Supreme Court, the lawsuit was so completely without merit that they issued a one-sentence refusal to even hear te case, with no dissenting opinions, not even from Trump's three appointees.

What makes it "awesome"? Is it simply that you see it as one thin, final chance to overturn the election? When it fails, I hope you will reconsider your sources of information.

Actually..... the evidence essentially proves that the election has already been stolen / overturned...... but now the truth is coming out and the 2022 and 2024 elections will be amazingly free of voter fraud after the various ways that voter fraud occurred in 2020 are addressed.

I mean seriously....... Joe Biden barely even bothered to campaign???????????????

What did he know that most Americans did not know????????

Here is a viable option that is open to all Democrats who realize that their party is too corrupt to reform:

Should Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang begin a whole new party?

I have an idea that I worded for a Canadian audience that I believe could be presented by Gabbard and Yang that President Trump might just be tempted to coopt under these strange circumstances at this time.

Two things are needed to produce a situation of hyper inflation......
    1. Print a lot of extra money
    2. Greatly decrease production.......

Both criteria are being fulfilled in 2020..... and you can rest assured that President Trump has recognized how serious this really is.

you are partly correct...... and mail in ballots are known to be especially vulnerable to fraud.

A truckload of votes from New York that are known to be mostly for Biden cannot be trucked to Pennsylvania and counted there......... that is one variation on voter fraud. The people who paid the trucker to haul the load made a serious error to not make sure that he got paid for his overtime!

Show me evidence that proves the election was stolen. If you think some affidavits make the case, then show me the affidavits that do this - don't just crow about how many they are. Avoid the problematic ones - the ones that are hearsay, the ones that relate something that looked suspicious, the ones that document speculations, and the ones from people who just didn't understand what they saw. Please don't bother posting more videos from pundits who present their hyperbolic reactions to rumors. Just because they tell you what you want to hear doesn't mean they offer proof. Give me the unfiltered data.

I've seen this absurdity from a number of forum members. If this is the foundation of your belief that the election was stolen, you should re-think it. Biden campaigned, he just campaigned differently - he campaigned in a style that was consistent with his message about COVID, avoiding crowds. He spent more money than Trump on advertising. Biden led in the polls for more than a year, so why should the only poll that mattered be considered an anomaly?

Surely you know that Trump was despised by many. His approval rating was rarely above water. Hillary Clinton was also despised by a lot of people, but didn't lose the swing states by many votes in 2016. Biden isn't Trump, and he isn't Hillary. Plus he's a moderate. There's nothing surprising about the fact that he won, and you should try and learn to accept that.

I've actually campaigned for public office here in Canada four times already......
I was not actually even thinking of winning but I think I did nearly as many interviews as Biden did.......
and put out nearly as much written material as he did......... but I was campaigning for minor political office here in Canada.... not for the office of President of the USA....... Biden did not campaign seriously at all in my opinion..........

and frankly..... I am making an attempt to set up my own bid to become national leader of the People's Party of Canada assuming that Mr. Maxime Bernier will soon be lured back into the Conservative Party of Canada......

I've campaigned before..... and in my opinion...... Biden did not campaign seriously at all!

My 2006, 2008, 2016 and 2004 campaign writings as ART.

I'm spending more time attempting to lure potential rivals into the leadership race myself........ so I know what it means to campaign in a manner that is not all that serious but........ if my primary policy platforms attract a lot of attention.... which is possible........ rest assured I will go all out for a number of months for a relatively minor role in Canadian political life!

In my opinion this man is one of the best public speakers in Canada and he stomps this topic from every angle. He is a lawyer turned youtuber and I am hoping to lure him into defeating my PPC leadership bid and hopefully give him some policy platforms that he could coopt if he chooses!

I listened to this video twice already this morning because he really did nail this topic:

You ignored everything I said, and are just repeating your opinion that Biden didn't campaign enough to win.

Before I spend 40 minutes of my life watching a video, please tell me what sort of allegations she makes. I did Google her name, and saw reference to her alleging that she was harrassed. Is that it, or are there some more nefarious allegations?

"We" is anyone who read my op, grasped what I said, and could find no errors in my analysis....
...which suggests it doesn't include you. It seems that you dismissed what I said without finding a flaw.

There is not "tons of evidence" that the Dominion machines are designed by the Venezuelan government to cheat. Just the affidavit that I analyzed and and showed to be problematic.

Biden didn't campaign enough to win, not by a long shot. He didn't campaign enough to win, or even campaign enough to run. Good point.

This election was a farce. The fix was in.

Computer and software experts are on record verifying that not only is possible to change votes in these machines, but that it was done.

Such machines would be very valuable for election rigging.
