Whataboutsim???? The story is essentially about how much it will cost for former presidents to play golf which wouldn't be a story at all except Trump's name is there.

Want to hear the best part? I believe it was Obama who signed the law that gave all ex presidents SS protection for life. And no, I'm not going to provide the links you always ask for. If you can't keep up with what's going on, and that seems to be a frequent problem with you, then it's not my job to educate you.

That's fine, but the golf whataboutism fails for two reasons. Trump criticized Obama for golfing too much. Trump has played golf twice as much as Obama.

Bringing up Obama only makes it worse.

It's all they have. When Trump gets criticized for something, they always begin with "what about Obama."

You know what? We have a few members on this board who drag Trump into every thread even if it has nothing to do with him, often within the first few posts in response to the OP. I hope you can find it within yourself to call them out when that occurs because it would be a sign of good faith that at least one person on the left doesn't engage in endless hypocrisy and double standards.

The irony, for me anyway, is that I criticized Obama plenty. Whenever they bring up Obama in a whataboutism, it just makes Obama look better than he was.

They still fail to see the irony after 4 years. They say Trump is light years better than Obama, but defend his actions by rationalizing that Obama did it too.

I said the whataboutism failed. I didn't say it wasn't warranted.

Sometimes, comparisons are relevant. This would be one of those times. It's golf. If Trump had golfed less than Obama, then his tweets would be sincere and the OP would rightfully be challenged. That's not what happened, though.

So, if you think Obama's golfing was excessive, you are tacitly agreeing with the OP. In other words, what is intended as a challenge actually supports the OP. That's what happens with failed whataboutisms.

My bad. They got a $22 million contract from the US state department. Apparently, the company admitted to not being experienced enough for the $35 billion dollar contract after multiple executives alleged to have only got the contract because of Joe Biden's brother.

See how this works Democrats? You make a mistake and you admit to it. It's not that big a deal. My bad. The scale of the money wasn't quite so offensive, even though it appears to have been a bribery scheme.

Honestly, nobody gives damn. Both guys played golf. What the help is the issue? It's all relatively insignificant when you consider the hundreds of trillions in IP, military data, financial information, and crypto-currency China has stolen from the US. We are less than a month out until Biden takes over. What are you guys gonna do about China? Or have you not been told what to do by the media? And how much golf do you think Biden should play during his Presidency?

I agree this is a non-issue, but calling out Trump on his hypocrisy is fair game.

Here's a short article on Biden's golf game.

What hypocrisy? He plays golf, and then each side criticizes the other side for playing golf. Round and round we go. Help me out here. Let's break the cycle.

Obama didn't just play golf for a few hours, his White House was known for parties with celebs. And Obama, the selfish pig that he is, would go to Hawaii every year on the taxpayer's dime and that forced his staff, SS and reporters to go with him and be away from their families at Christmas time. How many vacations did Obama take compared to Trump?

I think you apply the word to mean something that's too broad than it's definition intends.
