    Federal judge: No surprise 'criminal like Trump pardons other criminals'
    IOWA CITY, Iowa — A federal judge in Iowa who has warned against political corruption is ridiculing President Donald Trump’s pardons, including those issued to convicted Republican campaign operatives and former members of Congress.

    “It’s not surprising that a criminal like Trump pardons other criminals,” senior U.S. District Judge Robert Pratt of the Southern District of Iowa told The Associated Press in a brief phone interview Monday. In a bit of humor, he said: “But apparently to get a pardon, one has to be either a Republican, a convicted child murderer or a turkey.”

    The Worst President Ever Donnie is one of the most corrupt, incompetent, and immoral presidents in the history of the United States. If not for being president, Individual One would have been sharing a prison cell with his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, on felony campaign finance violations. In three weeks, Criminal-in-Chief Donnie will no longer be president and other investigations can begin in earnest involving other felonies, including tax evasion and obstruction of justice.

    Never in the history of this country has the President's pardon been used as a bargaining chip for loyalty.

    The cases of Mannafort, Papadopoulos, Kushner and Stone will forever bear the imprint of Donald Trump's corruption.

    This is what happens when you give the keys to the HW to a mafia boss and his family.

    I knew it had to be but I've looked this judge up anyway, and of course... a Democrat, nominated by dick Clinton.

    That Judge is Spot-On.

    Trump has made a mockery of the pardon power.

    And, many people are still expecting him to pardon himself (to see if it could possibly hold up after Court Review).

    Kavanaugh wasn't. Neither was Scalia. What's your excuse for them? Then you can move on to the other 4 justices and work your way down through the courts. Republicans. Some, Trump appointees. Take your time. Be thorough

    Surely it is beneath his position to call someone who hasn't been convicted of a crime, the president no less, a criminal. Judges have to be seen as impartial but he is broadcasting loud and clear a partisan viewpoint, no matter how much one might agree with the sentiment. If Trump had a criminal conviction, then at least he could say he was being factual.
