New Year’s Day in Pasadena, Calif.: Time for a parade, right?

Some Trump supporters thought so Friday after the Tournament of Roses Parade – a long-standing Southern California tradition to kick off each year -- was canceled because of the coronaviruspandemic.

At least 600 vehicles participated in the event along the usual Rose Parade route. Many vehicles sported American flags from their windows or from the beds of pickup trucks – and drivers honked their horns as they traveled down Colorado Boulevard.

"Trump 2020" flags and patriotic "Don’t Tread on Me" banners also were seen in videos posted on social media.

This is a great way to start the new year. We are sick of blue city mayors and blue state governors taking everything away from us. We must resist their lockdowns and carry on the traditions they try to cancel. Recall Newsom!

A parade of whiney losers using the American flag but how many of them failed to support our country just like Field Marshall von Bospurs failed or actually refused to serve our country.

Obama is a bit younger than Trump and when Obama was of prime military age there was no draft and there was no war. I have always been an equal insulter in that I have said many times that when I arrived in Vietnam I looked around and called for Trump and Bill Clinton to raise their hands and say that they were there I heard nothing but crickets.
Obama not serving is a definite egative with me as is Biden not serving. Yet I reserve my most potent vemon for the chicken hawks and those who attack my brother Veterans. I would prefer that anyone who runs for POTUS would have served in the military at least even in the Coast Guard.

The Gadsden flag has it roots from 1775 and it became to be used by the Continental Marines. Back during the American Revolution the Gadsden flag was indeed a patriotic symbol. The "don't tread on me" Gadsden flag was taken on by Trump fan boys just as the anti tax gebonees could on the Tea Party name. The Tea Party gebonees are more accurately symbolic of the real Tea Party acts than the Trump fan boys are of the Gadsden flag history and symbolism.

The words of the Gadsden flag for Trump fans are just props and have no meaning just as MAGA does not have any meaning except as a slogan, a marketing tool.

Thete is no patriotism no American soul in Trumpism.

Did they stay in their vehicles? If they're in their vehicles and not out walking in masses then I've got no problem with this expression. But when hordes of people start mobbing up when this virus is raging, mask or no mask, I see them as nothing but dangerous selfish clowns.

 

Well that will work but maybe Trump fans should cut those Trump flags into squares and if we have another toilet paper shortage those Trump flags will be of some value albeit a schiesty one.
