    Please explain how a group of white folks parading around with assault weapons is considered peaceful....

    If a group of black guys were walking around with machetes in their hands...they'd be arrested on the spot or just shot in the back

    I have never supported rioters or looters. I have always stood by the stance they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I have no double standard on this issue, why were you talking to me?

    And using your generalizations the right should hate him. He stole and destroyed private property. So far you are one of the few I see defending that action.

    They would be asked about the machetes depending on the laws on that district. They would not be shot in the back. Unless they tried to bury one in domes back.

    Dude possibly committed a crime and if convicted should do the time. That said, it's interesting and hypocritical for the DC mayor to care about law and order when she didn't last year.

    It is! It’s much better to encourage multiple political parties. They tend to discourage violence from breaking out.

    I don't know the answer to this - but have other people been caught desecrating statues by authorities and not arrested? If so - its wrong. Vandalism should not be tolerated. That goes for rioting and looting as well.
