https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/trump-did-this/amp/ I agree with every word of this opinion piece. If the right becomes just like the left then we are doomed and id suggest everyone to look for places to live somewhere further away from the cities as this radicalization will not lead to anything good.
Trump; "There's no way we lost Georgia" "There's no way" MEANS; a. Georgia voted for a Democratic president for the first time in nearly 30 years b. In 2016, Trump won by 211,000 votes Well, after less than 30 mins of self-education......I KNOW WHY! Eye Openers; 1. 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election White Brian Kemp; 1,978,408 Black Stacey Abrams; 1,923,685 A difference of; 54,723 votes 2. Stacy Abram's New Georgia Project 3. Approx. 50,000 Libertarians voted for Biden 4. Since 2016, approx. 550,000/predominantly non-white residents turned 18. -------------------------
No, the right has not become just like the left. They have become much worse. The left has never attempted to storm the capitol to overthrow a rightful election. They have never condoned or encouraged violence at the top leadership level in the Dem party. What Trump and his minions did yesterday will go down the books as one of the worst days in recent US history. Trump will be known as the worst president the country has ever had. It's good for you that you are finally starting to see it, but your weak attempt as whataboutism with "the left" doesn't fly.
List of controversial elections......United States 1792 New York gubernatorial election 1824 United States presidential election Bleeding Kansas election, March 30, 1855 1876 United States presidential election 1888 United States presidential election 1948 United States Senate election in Texas 1960 United States presidential election 2000 United States presidential election 2002 Alabama gubernatorial election 2002 New Hampshire Senate election phone jamming scandal 2004 United States presidential election 2004 Washington gubernatorial election 2008 United States Senate election in Minnesota 2016 United States presidential election 2017 United States Senate special election in Alabama 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election 2020 Iowa Democratic caucuses 2020 Wisconsin Democratic primary 2020 United States presidential election https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_controversial_elections#United_States Thus, from 1792 to 1960, (over 168 years), we had SEVEN "Controversial Elections'', last 20 years, TWELVE!! ------------------- Thus, last 20 years, what has gotten worse? Political dominance..... a. Seeking power b. Refusal to concede
Trump handed up the democrats a great victory yesterday. Trump totally destroyed any good legacy he might have left behind. I voted for Trump twice but today I am disgusted with the man. He's a moron. I don't want to hear excuses. I doubt there will now be a single republican in the country who will support him.
Sadly, 147 Congressmen voted to object to the electoral votes. Trump's support may be dropping but it is still there. Perhaps we will get a better idea of the situation after the next congressional elections. Meanwhile, he still has two weeks left in office to do more damage and his supporters continue to repeat the "election fraud" lie. Time will tell, but remember, time wounds all heals.
Quote: Trump handed up the democrats a great victory yesterday AND ironically, Trump labelled Georgia's runoff as the most important election in U.S. History, thus, what happened? 1. His last minute demand for a $2,000 stimulus package; a. Drove a wedge between Republicans, Federal, State, and Local b. Handed the Democrats political ammo, Federal, State, and Local Question; We had a Bipartisan $900 billion/$600 relief package, thus, why stir the pot? Answer; In this forum, some have said ''Trump was campaining for 2024''........but wait a minute, what's the most important election in U.S. history, Goergia's Runoff, or 2024?
~ There are very few on Capitol Hill who actually work "for the people" and support Trump's agenda. Any outsider who will not quickly fall in line with the political elite clique is doomed.
The "Right" needs to become more like the "Left," and are now doing so finally. Good. Maybe the SCOTUS will start listening instead of doing the DC shuffle in fear of LW riots now. I bet they heard loud and clear. That's a win for the Trump Movement and what will follow soon. No one but the truly disenfranchised of this country won a victory yesterday or suffered any defeat, and the victory was immense. The Trump Movement will proceed utterly unimpeded, that Movement stopped listening to MSM hyperbole years ago. Sanctimonious florid adjectives and over the top fake calumny by the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex IGNORED. Also good, and stop being so gullible and manipulated by MSM of any stripe, NONE of them are your or our friends, only THEIRS. But sure, "YOUR town is subject to riots disguised as "peaceful protest," YOUR business must be shut down, looted. YOU must feel unsafe and endangered. And that's OK even if it goes on for months. EAT CAKE" "OUR town is inviolable. OUR safety is of utmost national importance at all times. Any remotely mild threat to us and ours, real or imagined, is the most vile treacherous wickedness imaginable. And let OUR righteous fury against the serfs and helots Begin!" Yeah, it DO be like that. Wake up!
This, ladies and gentlemen, is where the tyrants and aspiring dictators come from. From support of people like this who have betrayed their citizenship as members of a free, self-governing society. These are the people who will be the first to put you up against the wall, if they ever get the chance.
Oh look, someone wants to boot-lick the establishment authoritarians who were mildly inconvenienced yesterday. Surely these august personages should be immune to such monstrous inconvenience by the rabble! Surely we should give thanks for their sagacious leadership! Yeah, it's me, it was me all along, I'm getting ready to do my pogroms and show trials, exiles to Siberia, the whole works. Bwahahaha!
Thank you for acknowledging this, but remember, we can NEVER let this happen again. People from across the political spectrum need to respect the laws and institutions of this country because they are our institutions. This is the glue to civility.
I didn't. The police response over the summer was high, far higher than yesterday's chaos. Don't you suppose the color of their skins had anything to do with that?
No I don't given that 80% of said rioters were also Caucasian. For the most part the only black you'll find in black lives matter is the name.
