    And for your infomation.

UK, Canada have banned Chinese Imports linked the slave labour.
EU's MEPs vow to block CAI because of the same concerns.
USA are telling the EU that it should have waited for Biden before doing anything.
Australia ban China from its 5g, 6g and 7g networks.

But CAI, I hope goes ahead, since the EU isolated itself and proved it's the weakling of the world, having to be told by China to mind its own business, and needing so much to believe what the CCP tell it.

Yes, I admit, the EU telling the UK that if we take back 100% of our waters, or chooses to have Singapore on the Thames, we will be locked out, have made me now root against it, that is why I root for CAI.
It's almost delicious irony that Brexit made the UK more able and CAI isolated the EU.

    God that's ironic.

Since I've made no mention of China I fail to see what relevance this post has to my rebuttal of your jingoistic vaccine claim.
Probably better for you to talk to those who want to get into a conversation about China than me.
I can guess at the reason for your deflection though. I find it easier to just admit I was wrong when I get challenged successfully.

Why would that isolate the EU, if everybody tries to make deals with China, or just has done one with China.
You mentioned Japan, Australia and so on, they just did a deal with China.

What the US is telling the EU has become rather unimportant, or Germany, or Denmark or whom ever.

I live in the US and just watched how it turned into a Banana Republic.

CAI will go ahead. Its a important development concerning how EU companies can invest into China.

You want the UK become a US State. I think that is rather funny, considering the state the US is in.

Just check the pictures of US soldiers sleeping on the floors in the US Capitol.

Is that what you want, for your Parliament.

You quoted a post of mine about China, I don't see why you ignored China in the post you quoted.

If you want to talk to someone about your farm in the UK (most likely in Little England where they voted Brexit) or your holiday house in France, then find another thread.

UK is more efficient in Europe for not being in the EU, a point you tried to say wasn't so, so I made you think about UK's action on China which MEPs vow t o block (which if successful like beating the EU for use of the vaccine) which still be beaten by the UK.

Why should anyone listen to the EU though after CAI?
Why should anyone listen to Germany outside of the EU?
If places like Germany want to be listened to again outside of the EU, they know where the door is. It's triggering Article 50 and leaving the EU; if the EU wants people to listen to it, don't shoot yourself in the foot needing to believe the line CCP tell them just to stand independent from America.

Since this is not Greenland or Canada, I'm not even going to dignify the notion of listening to Denmark; I mean, whoever listens to Denmark? - Did you just pick a random country or what?
At least Germany has the EU to listen to it.

I was addressing the incorrect statement you made about a UK freed from red tape beating Europe to the vaccine in that post. I wasn't interested in talking about China as the lack of me talking about China indicated. I'm happy to leave your mildly xenophobic thread and never return.

    You was also ignoring China.
I'm not interested in hearing a Remainer's American hatred based on the FDA's use of chlorinated chicken when the EU itself don't oppose this on hygienic grounds which you're eluding to in a baseless accusation.
Absolutely nothing wrong with chlorinated chicken, even the EU are not against it on hygiene grounds, only to protect inefficient farmers. Yes drugs should be an open and fee market to ensure consumers get the best prices!
The only xenophobes are the EU (all this nonsense about wishing to be independent from America is based on Americanphobic values that have no place in peace keeping democracies); You hate their food, you hate their values, you hate their influence.

"If this deal goes ahead, it will make a mockery of Europe's ambitions to be taken seriously as a global and economic player"
"He continued that it spits in the face of human rights and shows a delusional view of the Chinese Communist Party's trustworthiness on the international stage."
Don't you agree then that this is a good deal in the sense that if it goes ahead, will be a victory for free and democratic nations whom chose to outlaw China's slave products.
The only problem Guy Verhofstadt has it that he's an MEP and not a British MP; because if he was a British MP, he'd have already gotten his way yesterday when the UK (along with Canada) outlawed Chinese products linked to slavery.

"Report after report after report complaining about all the ways China violates all the rules that China agreed upon so again it's very hard to see how this new deal will somehow magically be different."

Don't you want CAI to go head?
I do, it serves them right for how they handled Brexit IMO so, deserve this.

UK in the EU followed the rules more than any other, in that sense, we were locked upon as righteous.
    UK's only crime?
    Becoming independent.
The penalty? Having EU leaders attacking our City of London.

I don't see Joe Biden or Donald Trump doing this, so I refuse to be happy with the EU until they accept that leaving them was not a crime to be punished for.

Jesus ... how can one human being write in one post so much nonsense!

Did you read the agreement of China / EU about forced labor? Obviously not ...

And yes ... the EU is none of your business ... you are no longer an EU member, so take care of your own problems on the island! And in principle China is right too ... because it's an internal matter of China. You Brits make a corresponding ban due to forced lanour camps there, what is OK because your thing about how you deal with China and not an EU thing about what you do or don't do.

This post of yours seems to be under the illusion that China never break international agreements it enters in to. Nieve seems to be how you want to be despite the CCP's track record, than nieve you are - this desperation to believe China despite their track record, only serves to weaken the EU's ability to act on the world stage.

I must remind you, telling me to mind my own business just reiterates how alike CCP and EU are.

I'm all for CAI, because it diminishes the EU's credibility to be a global player and our ability to take the EU seriously.

@Mandelus the EU's only hope is if MEPs block CAI until CCP can prove it's doing what the EU wants about forced labour.
I HOPE this never happens and that the CAI goes ahead since this is a miscalculation on the part of Germany and the EU I now hope blows up in your faces and brings doubt into EU's ability to function on the world stage.

I only wish this deal goes ahead because the EU's attitude towards Brexit and the City of London (UK finance) was offensive to our liberty and rights to act independently from you.

This is reason enough for me to celebrate this miscalculation and to hope it goes through.

The US is pretty much finished as a "superpower" now and as for their "leader-of -the-free-world" crap well, they like having grandiose meaningless titles and I'm sure they can think up a new one as the slide into irrelevance. Thus, trying to have influence over/maintaining influence with the US is a pointless/worthless endeavour in that the last 4 years has started them on the slide into obscurity. China is going to be the main world player and it will take over the US within this decade as the world's economic power. No matter what we think or feel about the EU it is a "thing" for the time being and we are within its gravitational influence just as they are within ours and we are all getting a shitload closer to China than we are America. That total wanker of a president Trump - well his legacy is to phucked the US as a viable superpower and allowed China oxygen it needed to make a run at becoming the top dog

UK / Canada and US all 3 banned Chinese imports linked to slave labour this week, how could this be a thing if we're getting closer to China?
The EU is a thing for the time being, but UK this week announced it will not hesitate ripping up the deal and trigger Article 16, a move we're only concerned about and haven't done yet because it'll anger Biden (not the EU), surely this means US is more of a gravitational influence on us/the world than EU is.
