I love mixing colors that is one of my favorite things about painting that is also a learned skill.

 

Be aware if your border collie is like mine the drone will be a challenge for him. My son has a drone and we have to put our dog up or he is off and running. He gets so excited about drone.

 

I thought so, but didn't want to presume. You have a real skill with that Nikon, getting the light just perfect. Photographing sunsets is difficult because you want to capture the light, but not blind the camera.

Our friends Collie keeps the fields clear of light aircraft. They daren't land when Bandit is around and they all fly away. He's so fierce.

 

Ahhh. Good call. I’m sure at least some of mine would be a problem. I don’t have any real frisbee or ball players right now though. Absolutely something to consider though, thanks.

 

You may not your dogs have a clearly defined job.

 

Yeh, but you know how border collies feel about fun. And what could be more fun than trashing a drone! I do have a couple who hate varmints and a drone does resemble a varmint.

Thank you for a very kind comment, the camera makes it easy to take pictures. I hope to get a telephoto lens one day.

 

His favorite toy is the frisbee.
Afew years ago a hot air balloon landed on our property one day and I have often wondered what he would have done if he had seen that. We didn't have him at the time but it would have been interesting to see.

 

We’ve had a lot of tennis ball fiends but I’ve never used a frisbee. Full disclosure, I’ve never been good at throwing a frisbee!

The balloon would have been interesting. Does anyone here have a hot air ballon they can land at daisy’s?

They are true athletes mine would be competition to Pele with a soccer ball. He will get the ball rolling, chase it and stop it with his foot, just like a soccer player..lol.
Hot air balloons welcome anytime.

 

I think we are in for warmer weather here in the deep south as is usual this time of year. Broccoli is back in the coldframe and is outside for good. Just gotta keep the goats out. I have an old pig pen ready to plant ... as soon as dry. Should work for broccoli. And then the hillside should dry soon as long as rain holds off. I can grow broccoli and leave the plants for the goats.

 

I paint most Sundays with a painting pal, we used to meet up but at the moment its via video. Anyway we thought we'd try a change, so this is a flowery path done in Acrylic inks.

A bit of rain, but above freezing... looks like most of this week will be the harbinger of early spring! It can't come soon enough, I've had enough of winter this year.

Tigger 2's painting is a reminder that spring is just around the corner less than a month before spring is official.

 

This is my all time favorite photo. .
The dog was a stray that adopted us . He took the mouse away from the cat and took it across the street and lay down and watched it. I don't know what happened to the mouse. This was one time I had my camera with me and got the picture.

Thanks! Sorry it took me so long to respond. Had to coordinate moving logistics...etc. Finally closed on the new home and getting settled in. Moved to the mountains. A change for me. How are you (all)?
