With the current crop of national socialist democrats that make up most if not all of the democrat party--led by AOC and crazy bernie sanders eta al, and knowing that Hitler himself was a national socialist, would lead any common sense individual to realize that the OP has it all wrong by hilariously trying to equate a stage setting with Republican Nazism. Nice try pal!

Nevermind, I found it...Even the ADL says dont jump to a conclusion.
    https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/othala-rune
The othala rune is part of the runic alphabet system, a system of writing used (with many variations) across pre-Roman Europe. In the 20th century, Nazis in Germany adopted the othal rune, among many other similar symbols, as part of their attempt to reconstruct a mythic "Aryan" past. Nazi uses of the symbol included the divisional insignia of two Waffen SS divisions during World War II. Following World War II, white supremacists in Europe, North America, and elsewhere began using the othala rune. Today, it is commonly seen in tattoo form, on flags or banners, as part of group logos, and elsewhere.

However, because it is part of the runic alphabet, the symbol can also be found in non-extremist contexts as well, especially runic writing and runestones used by non-racist pagans. Consequently, care should be taken to evaluate the symbol in the context in which it appears.

CPAC was once a sleepy, minor event. A fringe gathering of libertarians, social conservatives and the hawkish foreign policy establishment inside the GOP. Now it's become Trump-chella. A full blown orgy of crazy, conspiracy, and more recently golden idolatry.

Time for the GOP to censure Liz a second time. No dissent from nutjobbery can be allowed.

It is shocking that the left has the gall to post outrage over an obscure symbol that nobody is aware of when their side openly displays the symbols of communism.... the ideology responsible for more mass murder in world history than any other. Mo other ideology even comes close to the body count of the communists. More worrying is that the left is using the genocidal language that the communist mass murderers employed against their opponents before they began purges.

History is a thing, I wish more people on the left would learn about it.

Now you are bordering of the conspiracy theory. "Resident evil" has a round emblem, same shape as your car's tires.
Far too out of bounds here to be relevant. I, like the guy from Germany- have never seen that particular variant as a Nazi symbol.
However it does remind me of the crossed ribbon design used as Breast Cancer awareness, just squared up....

It's so easy for people to jump to conclusions these days, and totally miss something real and dangerous while they are out there is la-la-land.

Hey Hockey Dad, displaying those symbols beautifully depicts the Left's hypocrisy on this faux representation of Nazi symbolism as being something resembling a Republican or a Conservative ideology. What we need to see are the hammer and sickle communist symbols that truly represent the entire socialist/marxist/communist party of the dems.

Need to look left if you want to find Nazis in the news. No surprise since Nazis consulted with Democrats in writing their Nuremberg Laws. On the left we have Anna Eshoo imploring cable carriers, would be Brown Shirts, to unleash their fury against networks whose facts are in convenient to her dogma. This is how the genocide against Jewish people in Nazi Germany began. No surprise to see it show up in a government taken over by Democrats. Just over 1 month out and gross violations of the First Amendment with the likely intent to break Federal Election laws are in play.

Funny how the right gets all "triggered" when the word Nazi is brought up, like they were feeling guilty about something.

I would tell them to remember how they trolled the Obamas for their "terrorist fist bump" if they want
perspective on this issue. Karma is an interesting concept.

Nothing to feel guilty about. Fascism, to include Nazism and Stalinism are all left wing phenomena. Nazi concentration camps were modeled after Democrat Plantations. After Republicans freed the slaves, Democrats formed the KKK, lynching freed slaves and Republicans who went south to help newly freed Blacks. Woodrow Wilson, the patron saint of progressivism was the first post-civil war president to segregate the civil service. Your guy also recreated the KKK so bigots like Robert Byrd had a home.

The Democrat Party was also home to Margaret Sanger, who met with the Nazis to discuss how her experience in killing Black babies could be used by the Nazis to kill Jews.

Embrace your heritage. Own it, don't project it on others.

So like I said, you're all triggered and projecting when you get trolled on the nazi thing.

Why is it that every time someone is accused of dog whistling it's only the Democrats that can hear it?

    Reminds me of Putin.

Before Putin came to power, Russia was publicly repenting of the evil antichrist Bolsheviks' mass-destruction of churches and brutal mass-murders of multiple millions of Christians [including the Tsar and his family.] Russians were rebuilding churches evil antichrist Stalin had destroyed. Russia's largest church, Church of Christ the Savior in Moscow [that Stalin had totally destroyed] was rebuilt an exact duplicate of the original church. One of the first ceremonies in that newly built church was the Russian Orthodox Church's canonization of Tsar Nicholas II and his family as martyr-saints in 2000 [which newly elected Putin did not attend.]

When Putin came to power, he claimed to be Christian. But since then, Putin has spent much of his time and effort... and LOTS of money... publicly praising and promoting antichrists and celebrating church-destroying mass-murdering antichrist Bolshevik Stalin. 21 years later, Putin [and much of the rest of Russia] continues to glorify the evil antichrist Bolsheviks!

Reminds me of this Bible quote:

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

    2 Peter 2:19-22

I think we forget that during the 30s, there were many Americans who either fancied or downright sympathized with the Nazi movement. It's difficult for many of us to imagine now in hindsight, but Nazism was just an ideological musing at that time. We forget that there were Nazi summer camps for youth here in the US, or that in Hollywood (actually Pacific Palisades) they created a fancy mountain retreat nestled in the canyon overlooking the Pacific ocean. The ruins are still there, but you wouldn't know its dark origins without reading about it first. It's still a popular hiking trail here in LA.
