Firstly, that last statement was snarky and childish. All you had to do was post that in the first place, and I would have responded with the fact that just because the kooky CEO of Tesla relocated his private residence to Texas, that doesn't mean the business has moved out of California.

Elon Musk is a genius, but very eccentric. He has a beef with Gavin Newsome over virus safety measures, plus he needs to be closer to NASA's Houston headquarters because of all the SpaceX and NASA combined projects.

He may be planning to move some manufacturing, but I noted from your article that the plant will be in Austin ... the bluest little dot in Texas. I wouldn't mind living there myself, with all of that great live music, not to mention an annual Formula 1 race nearby.

Horse pucky. I most certainly was not wrong. Tesla's headquarters and automobile manufacturing are located in Northern California.

You owe me the apology for your snarkiness and your refusal to look things up and prove your claims. It was like pulling teeth to get you to provide a single link.

I'm done. Please stop this little war. You're bordering on harassment, and I think that's against forum rules.

Re-read your own posts to see examples of snarky. Don't you read the articles? He's building a car production plant near Austin.

California and New York combined make up less than a quarter of the US economy, while you are partially correct in that those two states alone make up close to the same percentage of the US economy as all red states combined, the fact of the matter is CA and NY make up well under half of the economy of all blue states combined. Even if you excluded CA and NY from the US, blue states would still make up significantly more of the overall US economy than red states

The same can be said for US politicians, none of them are close to being socialist like Venezuela. In fact the current administration is even less socialist than Norway, Denmark, Australia, Switzerland, Netherlands, Canada, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, or Germany.. who are all as you said, not even close to being socialist like Venezuela

    Bank of North Dakota

    Founded in 1919

The only State-owned, State-run Bank in the USA.

Very well run, A+ credit rating, and profits from the bank are either deposited in North Dakota's general fund, or are used to support economic development in the state.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_of_North_Dakota

Anyone, what's wrong with this state owned/run bank?.......located in a very red state

    GDPNow, Latest estimate: 10.0 percent — March 1, 2021

CBO Feb. 1, 2021 — Real GDP is projected to return to its prepandemic level in mid-2021

Kiplinger.......First-quarter growth in 2021 should be around 5.5%

    Conference Board.......2.2% Q1, 4.4% year to year

Feb. 9, 2021 — Goldman Sachs raised its forecast for 2021 US gross-domestic-product growth to 6.8% from 6.6%

12 Feb 21, First Quarter 2021 Survey of Professional Forecasters.......the forecasters expect real GDP to grow at an annual rate of 4.5 percent in 2021

    -----------------

    Magic! NOPE

$900 billion stimulus approved and disbursed in late December, and January

If half of said stimulus is spent on Goods and Services, then $450 billion equates to a Q1 3.5% GDP Growth rate, and Q2/Q3 GDP will certainly be boosted by Biden's $1.9 trillion relief package, thus, my annual growth rate estimate; 4%

Quote: My 2021 annual growth rate estimate; 4%

If realized, Democrats will be chanting; Biden did better than Trump's 2.9% GDP, and then, here comes the ''Yeah but'' responses from Republicans.

You partisan people are fauken sick!

In addition, the ''Would have died of other causes'' will be significantly less than forcasted by the Republicans.

    For example?

If you are knowledgeable about Q conspiracies, then I'd love to hear your comparisons. I'll continue to base my opinions on credible sources.

Compared to the U.S., it's nearly impossible to classify other first-world countries as less or more socialistic.

For example; Is Canada less or more socialistic than the U.S.?

Well, both countries have an economic system combining private, public enterprise. Note; private includes worker's-owned/cooperatives.

Next.....There are several types of public enterprises, and many among them were uniquely chartered/structured, for example; some were allowed to fully, and/or partially operate like a private enterprise.

Next.....Independent agencies, for example; Amtrak, United States Postal Service. Now, here's a WOW factor; According to my studies, several foreign independent agencies, such as Canada's Amtrak and Postal Service, do pay corporate taxes, were allowed to keep their profits, and were allowed to own private enterprises, thus, once again, uniquely chartered/structured.

Next.....Agencies; .government run, however, several services are PRIVATELY distributed.

Conclusion; Compared to the U.S., it's nearly impossible to classify other first-world countries as less or more socialistic.

    Anyone, AGREE or DISAGREE?

YOUR Quote: What they did manage to do was to kill more people than necessary by cutting off their access to regular treatment for heart diseases, cancers, kidney support and other highly manageable health issues. They forced a stoppage of health maintenance and management

QUESTION; If you're refering to delaying/postponing elective surgeries, who's ''THEY''?

For anyone' info, States/local governments, and medical administrators are the ones who have delayed/postponed elective surgeries to ensure hospitals had appropriate resources to treat COVID-19 cases, and MOST elective surgeries that were delayed/postponed were non-life threatening, such as a hip replacement.

    Now, here's an occurence where Republicans have long critizised, and deemed to be non-existent in the U.S;

Headline; Utah hospitals have begun informal rationing of care, doctors say, as they cope with surge of Covid19 patients.

    https://www.sltrib.com/news/2020/11/22/utah-hospitals-have-begun/

    AND this article is self-explanatory;

Utah ICUs now at 99.4% capacity, as state reports 2,408 new COVID cases and 8 deaths

    Dec 19, 2020

Intensive care units at Utah hospitals have never been so slammed during the pandemic — with many of them beyond officially full — as the state reported another 2,408 cases of COVID-19 and eight more deaths Saturday.

The percent of all occupied ICU beds statewide is now 99.4%, or 534 of 537 beds filled.

At the 14 biggest hospitals that handle the most coronavirus cases, the rate of ICU beds now occupied is 104.1%, or 480 patients, which is beyond their official capacity of 461 beds.

Would help if some one or the other in your party was actually interested in cleaning up the covid mess instead of making it worse.

Forgive me questioning your chart, but you seem to have TWO July 2020 with different numbers ... just saying that
if you're going to pull something from your nether regions, you might want to at least make some effort to check its validity.

As the economy spirals downward under biden, I can't help but think that your apt signature of....'Socialism=Trickle Down Poverty' couldn't be more appropriate in defining the sad and destructive agenda of the leftists in D.C. and beyond.
