I agree. The insanity has been evident for a long time. The insanities you mention are attempts to control individual behavior. I see trying to manage businesses for no legitimate reason as different. The people are pretty much helpless in the face of government authoritarianism. Taking on every retailer in the state could and should bring an expensive backlash.

 

There is a lot where I approve of the concept, but not necessarily a given attempt to execute the concept. I support the idea that we need to get rid of the idea that men and women are so different that a given sex can't do this job or that, or what roles they are required to take on in a family, or what toys they should be allowed to play with, or what clothes they are allowed to wear.

But attempts like this don't work as well as some people think they might. Society is already well on it's way towards that point. These kind of laws are brought about by impatient people, or by those who use the issue to give themselves, as part of government, more power and control over others.

I already talked about clothing and the need for different cuts in the general for men and women. In all reality, women need a much wider range of cuts because they have a much wider range of shapes and sizes. But also to keep in mind is that some of the men's cuts will fit certain women better than any of the women's cuts and vice versa. Now as to whether they can be labeled any differently is another issue, but there is not a need to eliminate the variety of cuts.

Some sites will indeed have biased twists, and even outright lies about PETA. I don't have to support PETA itself to denounce such sites and their bias. Simply because they do not confirm to your idea of a woman, does not mean they are ashamed of being a woman. You are the one with the problem if you feel that a woman can only be a certain way. Why don't you just take it all the way, and claim they are ashamed of being women because they vote and own businesses and choose not to be mothers, while you're at it? Simple fact: there is no one way to dress or act like a woman, or a man for that matter. Anyone who believes otherwise has insecurity issues.

 

The people who have problems are the radicals. They have problems with girls
being girls. They don't really have a problem with boys being boys as much.
Imagine ten school girls - 9 Christian and 1 Muslim. The Christian girls get married
or 'live together' or sleep around and have 6 kids. The Muslim girl gets married
and has 6 kids. A scant 5 years later there are 6 Muslim and 6 Christian kids in
your local school. And this process is repeated with the next generation.
Something like this is happening in Europe. Yes a girl 'doesn't have to be a mother'
but one day she will have to obey Muslim mothers because Muslims vote
too - and these Muslims strongly believe in their culture. It's fascinating,

Having different departments for specific items is just organization. Easier to find items if they are in specific departments, if not it descends into thrift shop mayhem. I for one cannot shop in a place that is disorganized. Pretty silly bill that should be DOA.
