And now Biden is watching China, via "socialism with Chinese characteristics", continue to rapidly overtake the US, despite the crap Trump threw at China.

Last Friday Biden said "China will not overtake the US on my watch"....but he has realized that all the hot-air about "human rights abuses" and "western values" BS doesn't build urgently needed global infrastructure (nor at home); he will actually have to put some money where his mouth is. if he wants to compete with China's BRI.

Biden can't do in America what China easily does in China.

Ha ha. You know what he meant, of course; meanwhile the Repubs are doing everything** in their power to STOP people from voting...I wonder why?

** including making it illegal to give someone a drink of water - even if standing in a voting queue for several hours....

Now THAT shows confidence in your policies....not.

Hydroxy helps, just as Vitamins C, D, and Zinc help. Sunlight (vitamin D and UVB light) helps. Eating healthy helps. Exercising helps.

I want all potential employers to have a straightforward opportunity to quickly, easily, inexpensively, and with certainty determine the eligibility of a potential employee to accept paid work here.

I have spent quite literally days with a variety of dementia patients in skilled nursing facilities.

Yes. School teachers are already an arm of the law in many jurisdictions where teachers are required by law to report every case of suspected child abuse directly to police. Failure to report abuse is a violation of the law and can result in jail time for the teacher.

    Alas, hydroxychloroquine does not.

It's a deal! Glad I've won you over to the side of deporting illegals!

My father was in a skilled nursing facility for four years and my in-laws were in skilled nursing for four and two years, all at different times.

We're not going to deport ten million of them. I want to stop them from working and many will leave on their own.

Let's solve the problem for the sake of the country.

I hundred percent want to solve the problem, but I don't believe the solution is simply to give up and grant amnesty to criminals. I do agree however, that a vigorous E-Verify program, mandatory for all employees, would force many illegals working to leave the country if they can no longer work here without tripping law enforcement alarms for document fraud and identity theft.

I'll be happy to take your post seriously if you present evidence hydroxychloroquine is effective. I'm tired of presenting evidence only to be told I'm brainwashed, duped, etc.

I just don't think there's widespread support for booting out many millions of people, but there is support (I believe) for getting rid of immigrants who misbehave or are unproductive.

If we control who can work here, something we can't do now, we can use that control to remove the work possibilities for people we don't like. Hopefully, many of those folks will decide to find a softer place to land. Criminals we round up as best we can.

We need a complete program that satisfies the urge of many not be punitive to those illegals already here because going too far will sabotage efforts to get job availability under control.

I like the point system approach used in countries like Canada and Australia. That plus an effective e-verify program will get us the control we need.

It's about us choosing who comes here, not just accepting those who live nearby and can get to our southern border.

The point system was something Trump ran on, but couldn't get Congress to take up, probably because the Democrats who supported the idea before Trump turned against it, so now it IS about accepting who ever gets across the border; de facto open borders.

So you won't even get to the first step, E-Verify.

Ten years of personal experience with dementia patients in a skilled nursing facility. If you don't understand what that means, do a little research.

My sister who went through four years with our father and she days she would rather be dead. Dealing with dementia patients is eye-opening.

I suspect Democrats oppose installation of an effective e-verify system because they think it will work. Republicans, they fear, would use it to go after all illegals.

A card like Nexus tied to a database could instantly determine if a particular individual is entitled to work here. It isn't about law enforcement catching perps, but preventing them from obtaining employment. (Truth is we can do the same thing without a card.)
