Went to Lowes yesterday and picked up transplanting pots and hanging baskets to transplant some plants. What I should have bought was liners for some of the wire baskets. The trip was one of those trips where you will know what you need when you see it..didn't work all that well. Memo to self take a list next time..

Don't know about your phone, but mine has an app that I can make lists and stuff so I no longer can claim I forgot the list at home. I've got measurements for some outdoor seating that needs new cushions, what supplements I take, what I need at the grocery store.

Might be handy for a nursery trip also. But if you are anything like I am, you don't want a list available, because then you are held accountable for all the 'other' plants and goodies you buy that weren't on the list, lol.....

Hey hey!! Good to know that it's just techno-challenge issues, not anything else.

Stop in when you can, and as scary as it it, you can log on via your phone....

Finally got around to removing the freeze killed aloe vera.. we had about 5 hundred pound of the stuff in various planters.. I'm sure enough of it survived to replenish.. it is the one thing that grows like crazy here.

I say a memo would be the thing and to be honest I never follow them when I make them.

My husband had a secretary that made lists all the time. I am not a list person. Lists are a good idea. Maybe I will save it for when I get a bit older..:grandma:

had a doc appt today with x-rays and MRIs ... 5 months and 2 surgeries and my shoulder is not healing ... I'm doing everything asked but the shoulder is deteriorating ...

I'm seeing one of the best in the Valley ... rotator cuff and labrum are now fine but the joint bones are splintering underneath the membranes I had installed ...

I have an idle ranch up north and I can't even lift a shovel ... I'm still brushing my teeth, wiping my ass left handed ... can't even peel a potato ...

it might be suburbia for the rest of my days ...

Yikes. Is it a specific condition? I've been through encapsilitis (sp) and worried I'd never be able to do many things myself again, since both shoulders went one right after the other.

Sheer determination and exercises have brought me back to about 90% movement.

I started a new project today. A new metal roof for the house. I had some 1by 4s and sixes and I am in the process of screwing them down to the rafters. The metal will go right over the shingles. It is old heart pine treated with diesel. I didn't want to do a tare off because of the mess. Now I have to get the metal off my truck to get my riding mower on. The mower is down and the grass keeps growing. Gonna haul it off to get it fixed.

Couldn't you just rent a small UHaul to take the mower to the shop?

Cody has an appointment to see the vet for a check up and to get one of his paws checked. It doesn't slow him down but he doesn't want it touched and he favors it just a bit.

Galvalume, it was the least expensive. I got it at a Echols metal. It was actually less expensive than shingles if you figure getting rid of old shingles. And the labor involved in tearing off the old shingles.
