This Georgia voting law is unfair as I can see it. There will be minorities waiting in long lines for hours in the heat of the day without anything to eat or drink and they have to stay there bucause if they do, like go to McDonald's or Dairy Queen or some place to eat and dring, they will lose their place in line and those that have to work from 9 to 5 won't have the chance to do that either because, then they get off work, the polls will be closed. This will come down to the white collar whites that act and think conservatively. Hey why don't you make your upscale restaurants require a jacket and tie required if you're going to act that way. You should get you boys to get their haircuts and I mean the standard cut for school boys and high school boys should shave with no mustaches, beards or sideburns. You should stop playing rock and roll music and play standard Jazz and classical music. I'm going to stop right there for now before I get carried away any more. So there!

No one HAS taken that right away.

Meantime, no one (least of all when it's predicated on skin colour) has a right to have an easy life - wherein nothing is ever 'difficult'.

So do they herd the white people into a different, fast moving line? Tell us how it works.

Even then, some things will come easier to them than they do to the next person. That's how life works.

No, they just have fewer polling booths in largely black neighbourhoods so that people are more likely to be standing for longer. It would not be acceptable in my nation, but we run elections peoperly.

The law expands the number of voting days, allows people to drink from water fountains or obtain water provided by the polling place. The polls on election day will be open until at least 7pm and may be extended as needed at the discretion of the local precincts. It further does away with the subjective signature comparisons on absentee ballots that even the democrats opposed opting instead for people to be able to add things like their drivers license number to help verify the authenticity of a ballot.

Guess Who Likes Georgia’s ‘Racist’ Voter Laws…Black Voters, Survey Says.

Black voters supported the measures taken by Georgia’s new voting law, "The Election Integrity Act of 2021."
    • 73 percent of black respondents LIKE voter ID requirements.
'Liars': Leo Terrell Calls Out Biden, Stacey Abrams for Invoking Jim Crow in Voter ID Debate

"Democrats and leftists may be screaming in self-righteous horror about “racist” voting laws that are designed to keep African-Americans a downtrodden race, but the very people they claim to be speaking up for support that same law.

Trust the left to create problems where none exist."

It would not be 'acceptable' in OUR nation (I'm from the same place you are) in the sense that we would never make assumptions that it was about anything but economics.

Rule of thumb: Liberal President lies, Lamestream media parrots and embellishes the lies, and the weak minded swallows' the lies hook, line and sinker.

Question for you: How many states already have a ban against approaching voters standing in line? I can tell you Virginia has had a provision that prohibits Campaign workers from getting within 50 feet of anyone standing in line. That includes not allowing campaign staff from approaching voters to handout food or drink. In most cases, campaigns are allowed to have stands that allows them to give handouts, but they are across the parking lot or street. The Virginia law has been in place for longer then I have been in this state, and I moved here more then 15 years ago. Yet, in spite of the law, the state has moved more blue during that timeframe. So obviously does not prevent the voters from voting Democrat.

The Georgia law is not about forcing people to dehydrate while waiting to vote. It is about not allowing Campaign workers to harass, or coerce, voters. There is no provision in Georgia's new law that prohibits poll workers from giving out water, or preventing Campaign staff from handing out water from a stand located outside the restricted area.

For the Biden Administration to dub the Georgia law Jim Crowe 2.0 is nothing more then trying to sway the weak minded that can not think for themselves, or too lazy to do their own research.

Your right!! The handing out of water does not have anything to do with Fulton County, GA announcing that the counting would stop at 10:00pm on election night, and telling poll watchers and the media that they had to leave. Then after everyone had left, a hand full of poll workers pulled boxes of votes from under the table, and continued counting with no one observing. Why would they do that?

There is also provisions in the law that are there to prevent such events from happening again. That is limiting when and where collection boxes can be used. We need to keep in mind that collection boxes and no reason mail-in ballots were items that were put in place due to the pandemic. By the 2022 elections, the pandemic will be a thing of the past, and there will be no reason to include either in that election. But the Georgia law keeps both in play for future elections.

Here is the strange thing about all this. While the DNC has claimed that the 2020 elections were fair an impartial, they are still working to change the election laws. If you do not believe me, read HR-1 and S-1, dubbed "For the People Act". These bills, if they become law, would strip a the states of certain rights and responsibilities clearly given to the states by the US Constitution. So, if the Elections were fair and impartial, then why should the DNC try to change it?

So, what do we have in the end? The US Constitution gives the states the right to conduct elections within the state as they see fit. The DNC is trying to usurp that right, and their using fake outrage about handing out of water to those in line to back their unconstitutional actions.

Please show me where it states that thirsty people can not get water from a candidates stand outside the restrictive area, bring their own water, or have water provided by the poll workers. Does the law require the poll workers shut down all drinking fountains during voting? Does it prevent the National Guard from providing Water Bulls with potable water? Seems to me that there is no provision that stops thirsty voters from getting water. It is only about keeping campaign staff from harassing voters. To claim otherwise is nothing but a false narrative.

I will ask you, as I have asked others. How many states already have provisions like this in their state election laws? I will even give you the first one. Virginia!!! I will be waiting for your response.

Hypocrisy is a common virtue among liberals.

Georgia, like many other states, have a voter ID provision in their election laws. The whole thing about mail-in voting was not about keeping people healthy. It was about bypassing those voter ID laws that the Democrats hate so much. Yet, in spite of that fact, the state of Georgia is going to continue to allow no reason mail-in voting. They have even made the ID requirements for mail-in voting easier the in person voting. All the potential voter has to do is include the last four of their SSN and their birthdate on the form.

Yet, somehow the state of Georgia keeping their elections safe, is "Jim Crowe 2.0"! How stupid can this administration be?

You're still wayyyyyyyy out there on the far right trying to battle Joe Biden who took the Democratic Party to the political center. The Squad, Sanders, Warren--no one is turning to them for opinions these days.

It goes without saying that to comply with those evil rules, one must get out of bed and off the couch and actually breathe and move about. What is it with Repubs. They are monstrous, I tell ya, hideous. sheesh Snap out of it, dude!

Voting lines can be long but I've never heard of anyone starving to death while voting in Georgia. Plus you're allowed to bring food and water with you in the lines.
