Now THAT's rich, me citing the evidence smacks of desperation.......................how absurd.

What they brought is being refuted and they have yet to establish the means of death.

No he was moving air in and out as evidenced by his yelling and the officers are taught that is a sign they are breathing. The leg was over the shoulder.

They called the paramedics remember? They were trying to get him to calm down and stop fighting. They were trying to get him into the police SUV where he would be comfortable while they waited for the arriving any second ambulance and that would defuse the situation. It was Floyd who was having none of it.

It is the OFFICIAL medical report on the cause of death. The prosecution seems to be avoiding it. We'll see.

YES THERE WAS until the prosecutor took the witness back to a little room for a little coaching. It is clear on the video and the jury has heard it. He knew he was OD'ing and he was letting them know. Remember the girlfriend testified to his previous over dose where he spent 10 days in the hospital. He knew what was an OD.

Well let's hope justice prevails and justice is served and the defendant's rights are protected and the jury abides by it's oath...........don't ya think?

And they all testified they have seen it happen and the officers have to remain aware of that, even the paramedics testified to that, I was listening to the HLN coverage and their professor of forensics pathology discussed the fact that indeed that happens and it is not a rare event. Floyd put himself on the ground and handcuffed people are kept facedown and especially those who are having to be controlled and restrained. They wanted nothing more for him to be in the SUV but at that point they had to stop the struggling and fighting until the ambulance arrived. Floyd was way too big and way too strong.

It's the particular evidence you cite over and over and over again. The ME report is not definitive in a case this importsnt.
I'm waiting for the prosecution to address the cause of death. You should wait, too.

Not according to some of the prosecution witnesses.

Chauvin wouldn't let the off-duty EMT to check on Floyd's wellbeing.

They're almost certainly going to look at how much dope Floyd was on and how it might have been involved in Floyd's death.

I see why they didn't let us see the video of Floyd in the store for all this time. Floyd is clearly tweaking in that video.

We got millions of people walking around committing crimes while on dangerous drugs, and you people have the nerve to 2nd guess the people you hired to handle those tweakers.

I'll ask again: Have you ever attempted to restrain someone on meth? If so, how did the "use of force" procedures go with that?

Expect more crime and suffering, good work with your activism....

You mean where the cashier said that Floyd never appeared agitated or angry and had no problems understanding what Floyd was saying?

If justice is served and prevails, by extension it means the defendant's due process rights have been protected throughout. For me the oath is unconstitutional, a juror cannot be bound by any such oath, there is no such provision in the 6th Amendment and it amounts to jury tampering to enforce such an oath. Part of the reason for that is that many laws are unconstitutional and a juror has the protected right to decide as the juror sees fit and exercise the power of jury nullification when appropriate. I've litigated my own cases but I have never served on a jury and likely would be tossed as a candidate because I would never agree to take such an unconstitutional oath.

The prosecutions case only has support in the media. In court it is folding like a cheap tent. Defense is using prosecution witnesses as their own. That shows a weak case.
The circumstances of Floyd's death are a far cry from the media presentation.

FYI. A pulmonology expert has just now testified that the handcuffed, prone position, knee on the neck and back all contributed to a fatally low level of oxygen.

So, then, how's the "war on drugs" worked out for us?

91.5 lbs of weight pressing into Floyd's neck. Chauvin's toe was actually off the ground meaning half his body weight plus half the weight of his gear was exerted through his knee into Floyd's neck. Then another knee pressing on Floyd's back, 2 other cops on top of Floyd and the handcuffs pulling his arms back further constricting the air passages and the pavement all acting as a vise making breathing nearly impossible. This is the most compelling testimony I've heard thus far. Most of us already know via common sense that Floyd died from asphyxiation but the incredible level of detail in the doctor's testimony amounts to just about a slam dunk.

Really? No, not really. It was squarely on the neck.

The only person who knows where Chauvin is applying the pressure is Chauvin, this cannot be discerned from the photo. But note the knee is clearly mis-shaping Floyd's ear, implying that the force is being applied to the base of the skull and not the neck?

If you exclude the shadow you can clearly see that knee is pressing on the neck and on the back

That's far from the only problem even if it were true. According to the expert witness, that alone plus the handcuffs and the pavement would have caused severe breathing difficulties.

That's 100% false. If you listened to the expert witness testimony, the pressure points and weights applied have been analyzed in fine detail.

They were trained to restrain using this technique, to what degree Chauvin employed it is the question? Not irrelevant, if Chauvin used a technique which would have been fine with an ordinary person but killed a man because he had taken an overdose and was suffering from underlying health problems that changes everything. Most people seem to agree this will be manslaughter and that's just based on the prosecution evidence so far, the defence haven't even had their chance yet. There are ground for a mistrial, if the prosecution misrepresented the qualifications of their 'expert' or their testimony is judged to be unfairly prejudicial that's all it takes.

Floyd kicked off when they tried to place him in the car and was obviously under the influence of drugs and acting erratically.
