He loves Seattle but simply can't afford to live there on his retirement income. The average small apartment is $2000 a month. The average price of a home is just under a million.
The universe is likely full of life. And when you consider that there are around 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the visible universe (that's 1 billion trillion), the laws of large numbers come into play. So what does this mean to you? It means that when you go out at night and look at the night sky, stop and consider that you are likely looking at billions of worlds filled with thinking beings.
