Source? Are you kidding me? Everyone leaks everywhere. I don't even know what source for what you are even asking for. To deny that politicians leak is absurd.
I didn't deny anything. Not a thing. What you are doing is consulting your crystal ball. Pardon me if I don't believe your fantasies.
There is no crystal ball needed. Politicians, particularly Democrats, have a very long history of leaking things for political purposes. Most of the MSM media leans left so most of the leaks would favor the left. There is no fantasy about it. To try claiming that even though this is very common procedure in the past but a crystal ball is needed for the future is what is pure fantasy. I don't personally think the House Dems will ever get Trump's tax returns but, if they do, would you like to make a wager about the contents of his taxes showing up in the NY Times from anonymous sources? That bet would be easier for me than taking candy from a baby.
OFFICIAL CENSURE! When you pay taxes as a Citizen of the US, you should never be able to hide your taxation from the General Public. Why would anyone want to do that? For what reason? ONLY IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE! (And Donald Dork has had plenty!) He may have earned that money "supposedly" fair&square, so why should he be afraid of anyone who may want to review his tax returns? And why should said review not be allowed into the public-domain. (He was, after all, PotUS!) Since when did contravention of the law become Private-Property in the US! Unless, of course, you've got something to hide - and of such Donald Dork has PLENTY. From here: Donald Trump Sexual Misconduct Allegations MY POINT The man is sick-in-the-head. He recognizes no respect whatsoever for individual-rights and will abuse anyone, anytime, anywhere to protect himself from his illegal-behaviour. He thinks he is a "Free Agent" and is sick-sick-sick in the head.* And it's high-time for him to pay that bill by means of official censure ... *As established and maintained by this accusation direct from the Medical Profession itself: Doctors want President Trump's head examined
The heart of the official censure established by members of the medical-profession from CNN Health, January 17, 2018 - Doctors want President Trump's head examined *Dementia is a general term for loss of memory, language, problem-solving and other thinking abilities that are severe enough to interfere with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common cause of dementia.
SICK-SICK-SICK IN THE HEAD Yes, indeed, nobody is a king. But given what iS outlined in red above, from which planet do YOU come? It has become perfectly obvious with Trump that his false-claims included in his tax-documents are lies, lies, lies. And whilst he was Prez, the American tax-authorities knew it but said nothing! Mental-dereliction or disfunction can make some people think that they can "behave like kings" because they are above the law. These individuals, when they occupy the White House, thus become Very Difficult to bring-to-justice. Whyzat? Because the law is constructed to assure that only Really Persuasive Evidence is available to show reason for removal. And, after all, these individuals are American "Presidents". Which means the burden of proof is even more sacred than usual. Trump has been hiding his taxes for a long, long time. And most Americans did not give a damn. Moreover, he is under accusation of sexual-misconduct by more than twenty-women. Just what-in-hell more do you need to put a political-mediocrity on the sidelines? The guy is sick-sick-sick in the head. And so are YOU if you voted for him ... Now do we as a nation finally understand why the high-office for President must be open to legal-authorities for conviction of its elected officer if proof is found? And that can be done only if an authority has access to banking accounts in his/her name (whilst permanent residents in America)! And that authority must constituted by both parts of Congress in equal party numbers!
And it sounds like you're pissed-off because it happened "to the Right"! What makes you think, pray tell, that the Political-Right (or the Left or the Center) is beyond all reproach of wrong-doing? The IRS should apologize for the US's most sick-in-the-head PotUS in a hundred-years? And what next - both the Senate and the House members all kiss-his-ass in public-forgiveness on the steps of the Congressional building ... ?
This is all a little strange. Mr. Trump promised, after all, to release his tax info. Since a man's word is his bond, he makes clear his character with his actions.
A lot of people don't want their income tax returns public. Much of the information is nobody else's business. That's why it is private and that is why it is against the law to release private information against the person's wishes. When it comes to politicians, there is no federal law saying that a candidate's tax returns must be released. You can't usurp the law just because you want to. If you want to change the law then change the law. If a candidate refuses to release their returns publicly when there is no law saying they should, just don't vote for that person if that criteria is so important to you.
Exactly, loopholes AREN'T cheating, whether the poor or the rich use them. The left get their panties in a wad when the rich use legal tax strategies to pay less taxes. That's pretty much what EVERYONE does.
No, the IRS did no such thing. Try to use sources to back up your claim, otherwise it just looks like you're repeating BS. (Here, you are). https://www.newsweek.com/remember-irs-scandal-it-was-fake-news-all-along-681674 Granted, it was an elaborate, innuendo-driven lie that many people repeated endlessly, trying to get you to believe that there was a scandal. But it was still a lie, and a damaging one at that. The reason to revisit this issue now is that the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) issued a report last week that showed that the supposedly scandalous behavior never happened. In other words, the central lie behind this non-scandal has been definitively undermined. This is, or at least ought to be, big news. Former President Obama and his supporters should view this as an opportunity to take a victory lap. After more than four years of Republicans' efforts to try to backfill their absurd claims of a big political scandal, the entire story has (again) collapsed. It is not just big news, but it is also wonderful news. Anyone who cares even a whit about the rule of law should be delighted to know that the supposed abuse of government power that Republicans have been screaming about since May 2013 simply never happened. Unsurprisingly, that is not how Republicans are reacting. For those who might have blissfully forgotten the details of this particular non-scandal, this all began when an earlier TIGTA report in 2013 addressed an inquiry from Republicans in Congress about whether the IRS was using politicized criteria when reviewing applications for a particular kind of tax-exempt status. To qualify for that status, an organization cannot engage in political activities. At least, that is what the law says, with the relevant tax code provision ( section 501(c)(4) ) saying that organizations that are "operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare" are eligible for tax-exempt status. Let us skip over the fact that the Treasury Department has interpreted "exclusively" to mean merely "more than half of the time," which makes it inappropriately easy for politically oriented groups to qualify for this kind of tax exempt status -- a status that, by the way, allows the groups to receive anonymous donations. There's more-----
A country that is truly free in nature and in law and a political purge are two entirely different things.
A federal judge finalized the IRS financial settlement with 427 conservative groups and they had to make a public apology for their role in the Obama scandal. I guess everyone but you knows it.
Are you really that uninformed or are just trying to push fake leftist claims? AGAIN https://www.cnn.com/2014/07/18/politics/irs-scandal-fast-facts/index.html https://www.npr.org/2017/10/27/5603...or-aggressive-scrutiny-of-conservative-groups https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...gy-conservative-groups-2012-election/2149939/ https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/irs-apologizes-targeting-conservative-groups-flna1c9873823 https://apnews.com/article/9d2d5e28d661455da834aee66f54353a
Except that the underlying facts are BS. I guess you didn't bother to look at that. It was the Trump Administration that agreed to settle the matters, by agreeing that Obama was doing something naughty after Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) found no wrongdoing. So, it was politically self-serving garbage. Oh, but "a federal judge" blahblahblah is meaningless. The federal judge didn't make a "finding", but just rubberstamped an agreement in a civil case, which is how it works.
Once again, a federal judge just signed off on an agreement between the Trump Administration and the whackos. That doesn't give the claim any factual support.
