It's insanity. The end goal here for sane people would be the proposing of a Constitutional amendment restricting governments' public health "emergency" powers to being temporary and not arbitrary. I thought for sure these principles were already embedded in our law...

If you are coy enough the Mods seem ok with it, but it never hurts to try I always say ;)

Notice he would not admit it, as obvious as it was. I no longer bother with reporting here.

It's varies propagandist to propagandist! The CDC reports the vaccinated are 1000 times more contagious..

Far as I'm concerned the vaccinated are far more a risk then the unvaccinated, but as the leftist say, lets hope they keep them all together in the same pool until a FDA approved vax comes out..

    Why is that relevant?
I thought the “free market” would sort everything out?

The same people upset in this thread were fine when employers use the moral or religious beliefs, why can’t employers use their ethical or medical beliefs?

I just wish y’all would make up your mind. Is discrimination ok or is it not?

I really couldn’t care less about ones vaccination status — neither of my companies force the employees to get vaccinated. I just don’t understand the outrage from the same people that have cheered businesses choosing their employees and clients in other threads.

The general rule of thumb is that it's perfectly okay as long as it's beneficial to them. For example, Trump wasn't concerned about election integrity when the numbers fell his way in 2016. It's an issue NOW because it didn't repeat in 2020.

Admittedly, it's very hard to keep up with the "rules" but it usually falls in-line with the above.

So if vaccinations go against your religious beliefs?

    Don’t get one.
Hiring unvaccinated people might go against the religious belief (moral or ethical believes) of the employer.

Give it time, tyrannical dictatorships are incremental. I suppose you could always find employment more to your liking.

Sure and some people have medical issues that make them unable to get vaccinated. But those cases are rare.
Employers check a lot of things that are an abuse of power from past criminal records to credit scores. But neither of those have the potential to kill your coworkers.

Rules change. In our last bargaining my entire job description and title changed.
My job is union and doesn’t require vaccines. More people should organize perhaps?

If that’s the road you wanna take — I would be careful what you wish for though. Y’all seem to always cheer the policy that eventually bites you back.

So don’t hire them. My job would never hire anyone openly conservative.

This story is about the private sector. I’d be all for limiting their power over their workforce.

Unlikely. My job is too woke and knows most of our black staff won’t get vaccinated.

That isn’t my belief, it is the repeated belief of your ilk.

You just don’t like it being applied to you.
