I think whatever action taken, should be directly related to reducing infections. Its not about being punitive, its about keeping the unvacinated viral load away from the public, or better masked up. For example its not about preventing them access to SNAP. Its about making sure the unvaccinated are served separately when they come to apply, come to discuss their benefits etc. Either they do it online or they are allocated one or two hours a week of in- house service. Maybe at 7 am on Sundays, or 9 pm on Wednesdays.

If others are only required to wear a simple mask when they come to the DMV,. The unvaccinated have to wear N95 mask, a gown and goggles/ face shields to go to the DMV.

Its important that govt staff smile sweetly and be non-judgemental while they put the full regalia on these people, so that they don't feel singled out.

 

I would hope there is a revolution long before that happens.

The unvaccinated should be arrested and forcefully vaccinated.. They should then be charged a $1000 fine to cover the cost of this and incarcerated for a year for criminal mischief. If they have kids they kept from being vaccinated they should be taken away and given to proper parents. There should be exceptions only for legitimate medical reasons.

How are they Typhoid Marys? She carried and transmitted a disease that didn't effect her health. Outside carriers (vaccinated or unvaccinated, tested or untested) who are asymptomatic, unvaccinated people aren't just transporting the virus all over the place.

 

Indeed they are, They are putting out aerosols, tiny droplets of water that are all infected with the virus, every time they breathe out. Now the virus is very delicate once it leaves the body, it won't survive even past 6 feet unless it's propelled by a cough or sneeze.
This is in fact even worse that Typhoid Mary, She prepared food and contaminated it but you couldn't catch the disease just by being close to her. You can with this. Even brushing past these infected people can be fatal. They may never show symptoms but you might very well die. (If you are not vaccinated)

 

Can you read my question again, please? Your statement is that ALL unvaccinated people are carrying the COVID virus? What gives you that impression? Vaccinated people can have and transmit the virus as well, but let's focus on the unvaccinated people. How do you know ALL of them have the virus?

 

Vaccinated Americans are contracting and spreading the virus all the time. Furthermore it is the vaccination that is breeding all the variants or mutations, making it more dangerous for everyone. Not to mention that the vaccine actually kills some people. I'm not against the vaccine. I took it myself. But this targeting of the unvaccinated for punishment is nearer to a self righteous witch hunt than a rational science. While they're at it why not fire everyone who hasn't had flu and pneumonia shots. How about firing everyone who is overweight who are more likely than the healthy to catch and spread disease. Not to mention the bad example they set in regards to health and the increase in health care costs.

I was just reading an article that said Carnival Cruise lines is requiring all travelers to have insurance before they board and all unvaccinated people have to be tested before, during and after their travel with them. I guess they'll keep encroaching on people and make it so dang difficult they will get the vaccine just to make the madness stop.

 

Or people will forego cruises because that's too much of a hassle.
