MANY! All either fabricated, or taken out of context, or irrelevant to this discussion. And I have debunked them all. Somebody compiled a list of false and irrelevant quotes and published them in some pro-gun nut site. Copying and pasting a false quote is easy. Researching it, giving the context, explaining the origin, ... i.e. researching it, takes much more time. That's why I'm not wasting my time doing that anymore.
Washington himself was a rebel traitor. Who the hell gave George Washington the right to use arms on other humans? Who the hell gave him the right to keep and bear arms? If Guns are not a right, why is it so easy to buy them all over the place? Shays' Rebellion was an armed uprising in Western Massachusetts and Worcester in response to a debt crisis among the citizenry and in opposition to the state government's increased efforts to collect taxes both on individuals and their trades. The fight took place mostly in and around Springfield during 1786 and 1787. Wikipedia
I don't think you need much legal training to realize that they just didn't want people to have a green light to kill anybody by luring them into their home. But this is about the 2nd A. Not about state constitutions. Ok. So we agree that it's not granted, affirmed, conferred, ... (you can use whatever word you want) by the 2nd A. And that's my whole point.
We have posters here who fight like Mfers that they and we lack rights. Amazing and they vote for Democrats. This is why Levin wrote the book about American Marxism.
Whose right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed? Why don't you want rights? Who has a right to own a gun? Who is that magic person?
Leftists cannot stand someone having the freedom to choose something other than what they prefer. It's a personality type.
It confirms the aims of Democrats and why they wage open war on guns and humans owning guns or wanting to own them.
These threads are about WHAT it is we are defending. This one demonstrates that it's about a right to bear arms against an enemy in a military scenario. Yeah! I defend that right. I defend, for example, the right of transgender people to bear arms in defense of the security of a free state. Which Trump denied them, BTW. This thread is not about defending or not defending a right. But, since you bring it up, did YOU defend the right of transgender people to bear arms to defend the security of the free state when Trump denied them that right and kicked them out of the military?
I agree on calling them leftists but that is far too kind. They are brutal authoritarians. They think they can manage our lives for us including telling us what we can't own or operate. They will spin the 2nd Amendment as if it is just Taffy. They are why we must not succumb to them. They do not want us to have freedom. They first must explain if they approve the outlaw George Washington or later the outlaw Abraham Lincoln?
Except for the fact that you're wrong, you might have a point buried somewhere in that gobbeldy-gook.
Do you think combat troops should sit around in skirts gabbing about canning food? I do not believe you are defending our human rights. You appear to be tied up defending a very narrow number of men you support to kill humans. Oh and when a human is very confused as to what sex they are, you also support just them. Have you studied countries where only the Government has the guns?
He does not admit it, but you and I understand he does support the Feds being the owners of all guns and allowing them to shoot us down. It also sounds a lot like defund the police. I find not one word in the Constitution other than the 2nd amendment allowing cops to walk around sporting guns on them And they are not an Army.
You are huge on specific words. What amendment is over that last issue? Trump was the commanding authority. I never was able to rule Trump. Are you able to rule Biden? I served in the army. And had I gone into the shower and noticed some woman there sporting an 8 incher, I would be shocked. Or some male looking critter who had 40 inch knockers.
Liberals defend males in the women's rooms. That was the goal all along. Even when a male exposing one's self to underaged women used to be a federal felony, now it's okay to liberals.
That is a marvelous, well formulated, excellent and very thoughtful question, which I answered here http://www.politicalforum.com/index...form-part-of-a-well-regulated-militia.589757/
You leave me but this choice. To accept you are the ruler class, That you decide on what laws there are. OR I decide to accept the words of the Supreme Court.
What difference does it make what I think? It's their constitutional right! Do you or do you not support the RIGHT of transgender people to bear arms in defense of the security of a free state? Or should we just mark transgender people with a star of David, or declare that they are equivalent to 3/4 of a non-transgender... or something of the sort? You accused me of not defending rights. Your hesitancy to respond with a simple yes or no is very revealing.
Once upon a time, the 2nd Amendment was in the Bill of Rights. Did they move it? Have you gotten anything right in this thread yet?
