No, the ear loops are wrong.
    The mask should be tied.
Maybe with a draw string to tighten the seal around the mouth.

Oh how you wish you were actually tied with the champs... but you are not. You lost. Soccer has tie-breaking procedures, and the tie was broken, in our favor. So it's not a draw; it's Italy's win, it's just that we won in a different phase of the context, and while your word puns are clever, your attempt to deny reality is kind of sad. The first step in the path to moving on, is to recognize that you lost. Try it. It will do you some good. So, you did lose. That's why the trophy is with us in Rome, and not split in the middle with half given to each country.

@Montegriffo If you persist with the silly notion that tie-breaking procedures don't count and it's a draw, I suppose that you don't consider that England won the 1966 FIFA World Cup, right? Right? Because, you know, in the final against Germany, regulation ended in a 2-2 draw. It's only during a tie-breaking procedure established by the rules of the game, namely extra time, that you were able to prevail over Germany - by the way, with a go-ahead goal that wasn't one, LOL.

"Modern studies using film analysis and computer simulation have shown that the whole ball never crossed the line. Both Duncan Gillies of the Visual Information Processing Group at Imperial College London and Ian Reid and Andrew Zisserman of the Department of Engineering Science at University of Oxford have stated that the ball would have needed to travel a further 18±4 cm to fully cross the line"

Sure, you did score a 4th goal but that was just in function of Germany opening spaces in desperation, trying to equalize since you were unfairly ahead with an illegal goal. You scored at 120' when the whole Germany was pressing forward including their goalie.

"One minute before the end of play, the West Germans sent their defenders forward in a desperate attempt to score a last-minute equalizer. Winning the ball, Bobby Moore picked out the unmarked Geoff Hurst with a long pass, which Hurst carried forward while some spectators began streaming onto the field and Hurst, as he later revealed, tried to shoot the ball as far into the Wembley stands as he could, to waste time. He mishit that attempt, but the mishit went straight to the top corner of Hans Tilkowski's net"

LOL, not even your only major international trophy was legit...

    -------

Typo in previous post - I meant different phase of the contest

You may want to count one fewer silver medal. The 4x100 British team accused our guys who won gold, of doping. Well, it turns out that it was a British runner who tested positive, LOL.

A little down on the last two.
We got 27 golds in Rio and 29 in London.
22 was better than expected though.

More details on the British 4x100 sprinter who tested positive for doping: name is Chijindu Ujah. Tested positive for S23, and ostarine.

    Here, what ostarine is:

    https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-1564/ostarine

Still investigational... which defeats all possible defense that it was just an accident, etc. One needs to go out of the way to procure it. NO COUNTRIES in the world have ostarine as a legal medication. None. So, of course, due process will apply, but given that it's ostarine, this athlete is toast. Good bye, silver medal!

    And S23:

    https://eurosupps.nl/en/webshop/enhanced-athlete/enhanced-athlete-venom-s-23/

    Shame. Low dirty shame!

It's good that there were only 4 cases of doping found this games.
When you consider what has happened in previous games.
None of the Russian athletes have tested positive as far as I know.
It is shameful that a British athlete has been caught cheating.
It sullies the reputation of the whole team which is unfair on all the clean athletes.
I still favour a lifetime ban for those caught taking PEDs.

I agree - the penalty for doping should be the "death sentence". I think that would deter a lot of athletes from even thinking about cheating.

A Brazilian female indoor volleyball player also tested positive for ostarine. She was sent home. The team wasn't penalized because in the case of a collective team with more than six components, if only one athlete is caught doping, the athlete is excluded but the team is not. If two or more are caught doping then the whole team is disqualified.

She said that it was "an accident." Yeah right. An experimental, rare, illegal substance in all 210 countries in the world, not on sale anywhere other than in black markets, and she took it by accident. Sure, sure.

Well, in a sense, it is a "death sentence" (athletically speaking) because the cloud of suspicion will follow that athlete forever and ever.

Are there cases of Olympic athletes who were caught cheating, and then went back to win a medal in subsequent Olympic games? I don't know, and maybe I'm wrong, but I find it unlikely. That country's own federation would likely have no appetite to allow the athlete to be in a subsequent delegation, not to endure the stench by association.

I think once they are caught, they are mostly toast. Maybe there are a few exceptions of someone who is rehabilitated, but even if they stop using the substance and start training normally, they are already starting from a higher (and illegally obtained) muscle mass, so I'd still consider that a subsequent medal won by them would smell bad.

England into the final of the women's Euros.
4-0 against 2nd ranked team in the world Sweden.
France or Germany in the final.

We had a little help from the Swedish goalie but even so it was a confident win.
How do you think the other semi will go?

I watched the France Dutch game, which France wone by a penalty. They did not convince me, they lacked that aggression.
    They have superb players.
I was very impressed with Austria and Germany, that was a 90 minutes all out war. Those ladies were playing rough and tough, no quarters given.
I think if Germany can bring that uncompromising game, with its high pressing, tough tackles and 90 minutes speed, they will beat France.

One thing was clear the French players ran out of steam around the 70s minute, against the Dutch.

    Lets see, will be interesting.

I was impressed by the quality of the top teams, different football for sure, compared to men, but very entertaining and fun to watch.

they have come a long way

The relentless attack every bal did the trick for Germany, they never really allowed the French women to get into a rhythm and playout their individual qualities.
And then there is Popp, the senior and Captain and a true striker, 4 games 5 goals. 2 goals against France.

Germany beat France 2:1 in a tough and fast game.

Now we will have the old Wembly drama, England against Germany.

    That will be a GAME.
