This was confirmed by a source of The Eastern Herald in Kabul. Since then we are not able to communicate with our journalists in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.

I'm still in favor of withdrawal, but the whole point of withdrawal was a sustained peace in Afghanistan, as well as the safety of our people(being the most important.) It's clear that our forces are in danger and the Taliban renegaded on the Trump agreement. The fault lies not with Trump, technically not even with Biden. It lies with an enemy that acts on deception and neo-cons were right: There's no negotiating with this devil. We should have tactically retreated, allowing our forces to defend our interests and vulnerable people while retreating.
