""""The end of abortion finally arrives""" Well, where is it? We've heard for fifty years how RvW is coming to an end.....
When it becomes a sentient being, which is around 22-24 weeks. While it might be sentient, meaning it is conscious and aware of itself and its surroundings, it is not viable outside the uterus at that point because its lungs have not developed yet. The survival of a premature infant is based entirely on whether or not its lungs continue to develop.
We are only talking about women who get abortions for no good reason after 15 weeks gestation. How sorry should we feel for such a woman?
For the thousandth time Who are YOU to judge what is a good reason or not? Answer(because you never answer) is : YOU don't determine what is a good reason...YOU DO NOT DETERMINE THAT... And, BTW, I don't expect any Anti-Choicer to feel sorry for any women.....for any reason...
If someone is trying to elicit sympathy from me, don't I have the right to come to an opinion about whether they had a good reason to do what they did? I think most people agree that if a woman aborts at 15 weeks, she should have a good reason. This is what the baby looks like at 15 weeks: picture 1 picture 2 3D ultrasound pictures You can see the baby is making hand gestures over its face.
Who wants sympathy from you? NO, she only needs a reason, her own. Abortions are legal until 23-24 weeks. A 15 week old BABY is cute... I doubt your photos show that. It does NOT make any difference what a FETUS looks like at 15 weeks or at any other time....LOOKS do NOT make a LEGAL PERSON.
They can "deny" rights to however the **** they want to, and if the Constitution becomes to inconvientent, they can throw it in the garbage burner for all I care and start over with a new one from scratch. (Preferably one that would have proponents of dangerous, far-left views thrown in prison for even so much as daring to express their idiocy, let alone put it into practice).
FoxHastings said: ↑ It didn't start then and it won't end even if the Supreme Court does throw out the Constitution and deny rights to 51% of the population. Has it ended yet ?
We can change the definition of legal person to whatever we damn well want to, that's the beauty of it. Then as far as the law is concerned you and others will be forced to acknowledge the new definition whether you like it or not. I don't care about "black market abortion", as long as it's not legal, that's good enough. There are also plenty of other ways to legally discourage unplanned pregnancies such as mandatory vasectomies that could easily eliminate the potential "needs" for abortion.
. Who ? When ? HOW? You haven't even ended RvW yet HOW are you going to change it and right now we have a definition you don't like so I'm happy
FoxHastings said: ↑ """"The end of abortion finally arrives""" Well, where is it? We've heard for fifty years how RvW is coming to an end..... Oh, the old "Emotion with no facts" mantra of the Anti-Choicers...."It's MURRRRDERING a BAAAAAAAAABY!"
Pro abortion people get emotional at the thought of Roe vs Wade being over turned. It gives them nightmares.
You're the one insisting that "babies" are "murdered"....that's a lot of emotional drama and absolutely no facts....I deal with facts not emotions... The exclamation points denoted ridicule.
No, I never said that....why are you making things up? No, most people don't...all the polls from 1973 say that most Americans believe abortion should be legal .
I was sure you did when you had that debate with Lil Mike. So when do you feel abortion should no longer be legal? How many weeks?
It has to be legal up until birth because if there are complications the woman can't die because she's not allowed an abortion. I support restrictions after viability because I know no sane women want abortions after viability so it really isn't necessary but makes Anti-Choicers think they have something. In other words, if woman 8 1/2 months pregnant goes to the doctor and demands an abortion she isn't given one but is given a psyche evaluation. Despite what Anti-Choicers want people to believe women are not mindless evil monsters... Now, you can claim I said something else but the above is what I really said so if you want to mangle it to suit your agenda what I really said is right there for posters to see..
If the Feds can override state laws guaranteeing abortion rights, they can override state laws denying abortion. Careful what you wish for...
