She went into a stall; no one prevented her from closing it, they were just standing in the room giving their viewpoint. When she opened the door, she went out of the stall with no one blocking her way.

Here is a little project for you. Take an Iphone into your workplace, follow somebody (Joe Blow) into the restroom and record them using it. After you are done, post that on a social media site and title it (Joe Blow) going to the bathroom at my workplace. When you are done with that, let me know if 1. you still have a job and 2. you haven't been arrested.

When Joe Blow gets elected to public office, I'll consider doing that. By the way, unless specifically posted, bathrooms are a public place and as such covered under the first amendment so good luck having anyone arrested exercising their rights under the first amendment. See, you learn something new everyday.

First off they weren't filming; secondly they were standing in the restroom giving her their viewpoint. This is not a question about the first amendment but a question about democracy. Sinema won her election 'cause she won the popular vote for her Senate seat...Each qualified voter in Arizona received one vote (presumably) in that election. By cornering Sinema in the bathroom (or the plane) certain qualified Arizona voters? have their 'votes' count for more than anyone else's in Arizona.

 

If you do not believe in the US Constitution, then you cannot have democracy as we know it today. They (those exercising their rights under the constitution) didn't surround her because they did not block her from leaving the stall, nor the bathroom, merely they followed her expressing their viewpoints while she left the area which is perfectly legal.

 

Sinema was elected via a popular vote win to represent Arizona in the Senate. In a democratically held election such as Sinema's was, each qualified Arizonian voter gets one vote. If one corners Sinema and threatens Sinema or her family, for example, for not voting a certain way, this goes way beyond the scope of one qualified Arizonian (if the protestors in the bathroom were qualified Arizona voters at all) one vote...That cornering goes way beyond a democratic style of government and goes more into an authortarian style of government.

I understand The Constitution isn't democratic. Rather, The Constitution is based on a republican style of government with the one element of democracy and that one element is the voting (but not for president). It's important to realize that America's representative government doesn't function smoothly (if at all) if the American people don't have faith their voices are represented by elected representatives.

 

Arizona law is not my "viewpoint"... But play your games if it makes you happy ~

Nope; just being in the same room or area, they could make that allegation. You serve in public office it comes with the territory just like all the other intrusions into their private lives. The only question remaining is: If what they did was so horrific and a massive violation of the law, why didn't she call the police and have them all arrested for Harassment?? I don't recall anyone being arrested for expressing their viewpoints under the first amendment.
