Within 2 weeks after vaccination. Then it does protect us. --> https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/keythingstoknow.html
you misunderstood, but I can see how you did, could have been read either way as a cancer survivor, I plan to play it safe, got the flu shot too
vaccines only train your immune system to fight the virus if you do get infected, they do not prevent you from getting infected
No I haven't got the vaccine yet I had covered a few months ago and that was advised by my doctor I don't need the vaccine right away because I have immunity and I'm going to give it time.
if it was the delta variant you got, you are probably good unless another variant comes along doesn't hurt to get the vaccine (Trump did) and may help with variants, but not as critical I agree
My plan was to wait and see if either A- they did some honest studies to determine long term side effects, or B- see what a few years 'soaking' in the public resulted in. But then it was mandated. So long as its mandated, I'm not taking it. **** the mandate.
What he said in spades Let us bypass the COVID vaccine to look at vaccines in general One infectious but not contagious disease we have reduced to almost nothing is Tetanus You cannot convince that vaccines are not worthwhile
And the previous studies they did on SARS 1 and HIV using MRNA technology? The ones dine over 10 years ago now that have not shown any long term effects? Then there is the J&J vaccine - we have been using adenovirus vectors for decades
Silly part is most of the people claiming this have NOT a read the research studies - could not find a research study if they wanted to, are unaware of even easy search engines like google scholar and then when they find a study are unable to critically analyse it so are accepting every qualitative anecdotal review of less than 20 subjects as the same as a rigours international double blinded RCT
not the way vaccines work, they do not prevent the virus, they teach the immune system to fight it off, if\when you get it, it's not like a glove that covers your body now with the vaccine, you may get it and never notice, but it doesn't stop you from getting it
For my right to choose. Give me liberty or give me death. Used to be a commonly understood phrase in America... You're entirled to your opinion that my choice is foolish, of course. But if we don't have the right to make the wrong choice, we don't have the right to choose at all.
Thats a discussion for a vaccine that I'm not being coerced to take. The issue now is coersion. I would make the same stand if they just told me I had to be injected with pure saline. I do not consent.
