here comes the movement to cancel the constitution. Does it really surprise anyone that it’s coming from the left.

Sure Charlottesville had some bad outcomes but I think it could be better resolved by not allowing counter protests on the same day. To hold people criminally liable for speech is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

Allowing two people to stand at the same podium will just make them shove for the mic. There is definitely better ways to handle this rather than to limit speech. The left won’t be happy until bloggers they don’t agree with are not constitutionally allowed to blog, until protesters they disagree with are not allowed to protest, until they can criminally charge anyone they want for speech to keep them from voting. The left should not be allowed this move!

Mike 'I never put my hands up because they were busy trying to seal an officers gun so I could kill him' Brown's stepfather stood in front of a huge crowd of BLM terrorists and told them to, quote, "burn this bitch down". The terror mob proceeded to do just that. IIRC he was charged or even arrested for inciting that riot. So ya, the bar is pretty damn low when it comes to such a crime (if you're a leftist that is).

    Lolwut?
That is some really convoluted "logic"...

A bunch of Extremist Alt-Right Whackjobs insigate an incident that turns deadly...
And, you are claiming that the bad guys are "The Left"?:roflol::bored:

I hope you didn't pull any muscles twisting into that conclusion...

Both sides instigated crap. There were areas where it was the alt-right and in other areas it was leftist extremists. Don't even try to pretend otherwise.

Oh wait...leftists love to re-write history.

That is what I have noticed about some of the usual suspects. They ask a question. You provide information that answers the question. And they repeat the question.

Memo: When planning a riot, don't do it on the internet, on camera, on the phone, or in writing.

ANTIFA did this as well, even mentioned people by name and where they were located to attack them. Why aren’t they being civilly prosecuted?

Maybe you can quote me where I said their actions were not criminal. I said their speech was not.

In May of 2017 the was a protest called unite the right that took place in Charlottesville North Carolina.

It's a constitutional right to have a unite the right protest. Civil liability requires damage. People aren't damaged by protests.

Exactly. And what side protests more often? How many BLM protests turned violent? If we start hold protesters civilly liable for speech we could see this spiral to hit everyone, not just the alt right.

Charles Manson was convicted for speech, not telling anyone to do anything, just inciting them

remember Trump wanted to hold msgs boards responsible for their users speech, talk about ending free speech had he succeeded

Manson was convicted of first-degree murder for directing the deaths of the Tate-LaBianca victims. Not inciting. And if you tell a person to kill someone and they do it, you get convicted just as you committed the murder yourself.

Nobody remembers anything about that. Did you have a link or are you making it up?

A jury saw it differently. You can't prove he told anyone anything unless someone testifies they were told to do so.

So you can't provide a link, you just followed the crowd. Thats what I thought.

Trump also wanted to take guns first and have trials after. He was no hero of the constitution. But he was far better than any democrat.

not true. He was at one of the murders. The night Manson followers murdered Leno and Rosemary LaBianca in their home in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles Manson was there. He supposedly wanted to make sure it was done correctly

You’re kidding right. You think FB and Twitter represent free speech? If their platforms are considered free speech then why can they ban anyone?

Incitement is not protected by the constitution. And this civil case is focused on incitement, not free speech. The information being collected revolves around their communications regarding the organization of the rally - not what was said at the rally.

the Trump EO wanted to make them less so

Trump wanted sites to have to monitor every post, and be liable for them, which means nothing would be posted in real time, they would have to queue and a site error on the side of caution, that is what Trump wanted
