You're assuming that the pledge is being used politically. It's not. It's being used patrioticly. There is difference. Probably too nuanced for you to admit though so nvm.

This is just one man's opinion, but a pilot has a whole different level of expectation of responsibility.

I would think the pilot would know more, but then again I predicted their lawsuit protesting the vaccine mandate would get tossed, and it did. You know, the lawsuit the right said would be the first domino to fall against mandates.

But if and when he gets disciplined for his actions, I'm sure the right will be among the first to cry about free speech and knowing what the workplace allows and doesn't allow. The right touts the first amendment, but one would believe they skip over the first word of that amendment.

 

Odds are that pilot is going to suffer the CONSEQUENCES for bringing the entire airline into DISREPUTE.

The pilot is NOT a spokesperson for SouthWest however he IS their REPRESENTATIVE and by saying **** the PRESIDENT that means that what he said was both DIVISIVE and OFFENSIVE.

Hopefully he is either SUSPENDED without PAY of straight out FIRED given that he LACKS the JUDGEMENT required of an airline pilot.
