I'm not religious, but there are some good sayings in many ancient texts, and this one has originated, no doubt, long before the Bible, as many stories in the Bible had been stories passed down, verbally, from father to son, over Millennia and today, it's evolved into a legal doctrine, ever so apt in the case of Donald Trump.

Reuters was able to contact some of these people ( Jeff Yeager is one ) to confirm that they believed Trump is still president, that these are, indeed, Trump believers. None of them ever terrorized anyone by telephone before Trump.

In Vermont, a man who says he works in construction told workers at the state election office and at Dominion Voting Systems that they were about to die.

“This might be a good time to put a f‑‑‑‑‑‑ pistol in your f‑‑‑‑‑‑ mouth and pull the trigger,” the man shouted at Vermont officials in a thick New England accent last December. “Your days are f‑‑‑‑‑‑ numbered.”

The news organization has documented nearly
800 intimidating messages to election officials in 12 states, including more than 100 that could warrant prosecution, according to legal experts.

“These people firmly believe in the ‘Big Lie’ that the former president legitimately won the election,” said Chris Krebs, who ran the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency at the Department of Homeland Security.

He soon grew agitated, peppering two Reuters reporters with 137 texts and voicemails over the past month, threatening the journalists and describing his election conspiracy theories.
The man telephoned the secretary of state’s office again on Oct. 17 from the same phone number used in the other threats. This time he was more explicit. Addressing state staffers and referring to the two journalists by name, he said he guaranteed that all would soon get “popped.”

“You guys are a bunch of f‑‑‑‑‑‑ clowns, and all you dirty c‑‑‑suckers are about to get f‑‑‑‑‑‑ popped,” he said. “I f‑‑‑‑‑‑ guarantee it.”

Fialkin called Hobbs’ office and left a message saying she’d hang “from a f‑‑‑‑‑‑ tree.”
“They’re going to hang you for treason, you f‑‑‑‑‑‑ bitch,” Fialkin said.

Fialkin’s messages were part of a barrage targeting Hobbs. Two others came from Jeff Yeager, a 56-year-old self-employed electrician from Los Angeles, California. Yeager, too, called for her execution.

“When Katie the c‑‑‑ is executed for treason, what are you f‑‑‑‑‑‑ traitors going to be doing for work?” Yeager said in a June 17 voicemail left for Hobbs and her staff. Months later, on Sept. 8, he left another voicemail warning she’d be executed.

The three had much in common. All described themselves as patriots fighting a conspiracy that robbed Donald Trump of the 2020 election. They are regular consumers of far-right websites that embrace Trump’s stolen-election falsehoods. And none have been charged with a crime by the law enforcement agencies alerted to their threats.

 

Yeah I don't envy that part for politicians. They get a lot of hate and threats.
I don't think you should stretch this to make everyone sound like terrorists though. They did that with Jan 6,everyday parents, and now this. I don't think your spin will work.

 

Terrorism is a fake term designed to rob you of your liberties.

Anyone who threatened imminent lawless action should be imprisoned for threats or incitement, everyone else should be left alone.

They need long term inpatient treatment. We need to stop worrying about the isolation wards inside covid units in our hospitals and build Isolation wards instead in our mental hospitals. Speaking of fascists, many people lost family members to the Nazis during the Holocaust. I for one do not appreciate the Party that aided in the murder of Jews by denying them asylum to appropriate the term defining the Nazi tactic to sell a political point.

Reports of $419M Zuckerbucks earmarked to violate Federal election law.
Videos of Zuckerthugs preventing Republican witnesses from viewing the counting operation.

Many are aware that Dominion Voting Systems' lawyers made an offer to Podesta to help Hillary beat his landlord, Trump, in 2016.

We have a 2008 video of Obama telling Chris Matthews that mail-in ballots can be secured if measures are taken to make sure votes of the right people (registered voters) are counted. Then we have Democrats sneaking around to institute mail-in ballots and fight against IDing voters.

Finally, with Trump making inroads with blacks, Zuckerberg targeted large population centers with large black populations in swing states to water down the black vote.

If the officials were intimidated enough to concede the election to Trump, then theoretically he could've still won and not been accountable since he didn't have any direct involvement.

And that applies to the Trump/Russian collusion hoax and all the Stones, Manafort, etc that were NOT charged with Russian collusion but through unverified fabricated evidence to open a fake investigation used by our own law enforcement in a coup to overthrow a duly elected president... Now that is truly the insurrection that happened. All charges should be dropped or rescinded of all involved in the fake investigations due to the "fruit of the poisonous tree"

I"m not spinning anything, I gave you quotations, links to recorded telephone calls, not to mention a report by Homeland security which documented over 800 threats by Trump fans, 100 of which were prosecutable.

That's not spin, that's a fact. No president in history has inspired that much hatred.

I wasn't calling all republicans, but I was pointing out that Trump has inspired more hate than any president in history.

Also, some of the most angry people don't even like Trump. They just hate government and people in charge destroying our country.

 

Democrats inspired it and continued to inspire it even as Trump left. You cannot poke the bear and blame the hunter for warning you that it will take your hand.

 

Homeland security calls it terrorism from hard right wing groups because they have not only treatened people, they have committed acts of violence. The FBI has put out a big report on it.

Not to mention they are terrorizing people.

And some are committing violence, it happened in Texas, it happened on 1/6, it happened in Michigan ( well, their kidnapping plot was uncovered before they were able to carry it out )

They are terrorizing people with death threats.

The vast majority of them are inspired by Trump. And that is a fact.
