I taught high school students and adults for more than three decades and I never met a teacher who would tell any kid he or she should be ashamed of their race. Never. Not one.

There are 3.5m public school teachers in this country and I wouldn't be surprised if some fraction aren't bad people who should be removed by management for exactly the behavior you describe. Are there very many? No.

Why get trapped into defending CRT when it isn't being taught in K-12?

Teachers across the political spectrum agree that racism exists and highlight it to students. Most teachers have their own ideas about why blacks face discrimination and do not embrace a Marxist analysis of racial discrimination.

If you care about K-12 education, you should be concerned about the quality of instruction. We can't hire university STEM grads for salaries this low.
